I’m extremely grateful for Smart Dentistry!! They came recommended to me by a friend. I needed a LOT of work done and drive an hour each way because I know that they’ll be patient with me, answer my questions, and do quality, honest work.
My first visit I was shocked how gentle Dr. Sand was to clean my teeth compared to teeth cleanings I’ve received at other dentist offices. I’ve since then received fillings and an implant; all procedures that were MUST NEEDED but I had avoided doing previously because of my overwhelming fear of being in the dental chair. I can now confidently say that I’m not scared of going to the dentist due to Dr. Sand and her team’s patience and dedication to making my experience as enjoyable as one’s experience to the dentist can be.
I respect greatly their commitment to a holistic approach to dentistry; the commitment to the truth that your teeth’s health not only affect your mouth but your entire body. I don’t know where I’d be without Dr. Sand!! So thankful to have found the care that I searched years for. Can’t recommend Astrid and her team enough!!!

They are the BEST dental practice that I have ever been to and I have been to many! Dr. Astrid Sand is very skilled and followed all the protocols for removing the toxic, mercury amalgams in my teeth and then restored and rebuilt my mouth using the most up to date and modern techniques. All the assistants and her whole team are very knowledgeable and caring too. Dr. Sand has repaired the damage which has been done to my teeth by previous, incompetent dentists! I highly recommend them!

The only place for biological dentistry to go in central Florida bar none. Unbeknownst to many, teeth are a major contributor source of systemic illness. The relationship between teeth health and body health is of paramount importance. This biological dentist knows what she is doing!

I want to thank Dr. Sand for her commitment and loyalty to her patients, because in my last visit to the USA. UU I had the opportunity to have my teeth checked.
She is a great professional in the dental area and there is a great concern for each case to be treated in an excellent way. I am happy to have found her because in my particular case, I am very afraid of the dentist and she, with her kind attention and very simple explanations, managed to remove the nerves that these procedures produce.
I do not hesitate to recommend her in any way, because for me her holistic knowledge is very important, which applies to the treatments she performs for her patients, and I will take my husband and 3 children to her.

I've had so many poor experiences with dentists in the past. Dr. Sands corrected problems that have plagued me for years, all a result of improper dental care. Staff has always been polite and responsive to my concerns. Dr. Sands is very thorough and I love that she does things naturally. She puts her patients first, I have recommended many people to her and they are all in agreement, Dr. Sands is a godsend.
