Dr. Seppi is very nice, fast but keeps things simple and doesn’t try to sell you on unnecessary treatments or look for issues when there are none. My issue with this practice came down to the hygienist and some COVID protocols. None of the receptionists had masks on, though there was a clear partition there were still gaps in it and they were interacting with other staff members. There was no extra social distancing, all the chairs were occupied and in the same open room as usual, this seemed odd especially after the waiver I had to sign stated the water spray aerosol was a main way of spreading coronavirus. And then my hygienist was extremely rough and rushed during my cleaning. I have had two dental cleanings every year for the past 30 years, and this is the first time I was in quite some pain with the constant taste of blood filling my mouth.
I will return for Dr Seppi, by my next appointment COVID will hopefully be less of a concern. But I will request a different hygienist.

“I JUST WORK HERE” is exactly what was said to my mom after she was ordered to show for an appointment after phoning to say she had an elevated temperature and a headache during a global pandemic that this office clearly does not care about! She was ordered to come in because they would charge her if she didn’t arrive for the appointment and when she arrived the nurse was volatile and yelled at her when my mom did not want to purger herself for being forced to sign a form that said she had "no fever" or "headache" after explaining several times by phone that she did before being forced to come for the appointment when she was ill. The nurse said "I just work here" and no manager was present to assist so we sat and waited in silence with no help for 40 minutes before leaving while the rude old hen club at the front desk made of badly bleached blonde women sat and snickered, gossiped and were snarky right in front of us! The old woman with glasses at the front desk with the bad frosted highlights and the constipated face was not wearing a mask and was rude as hell to my Mom who was not feeling well. She then proceeded to lecture and argue with my poor Mom about a missed appointment history which was untrue. They improperly double booked her appointment in 2019 and she had to call to fix it and the only time before that was in 2016 which was the only missed appointment she had but arguing with a client who came in was more important than the truth. The staff was rude and disrespectful with an “I just work here” attitude just as the rude nurse stated. Worst of all is that they tried to make my Mom purger herself because all they care about is money and don’t follow safety protocols or CDC guidelines for covid! When my Mom said calmly and quietly that she didn't feel comfortable signing a waiver that said I don't have any symptoms because she did have some, they said well you magically don't have a fever now meanwhile my Mom explained that she took ibuprofen before leaving so she would feel well enough to drive to the appointment they made her go to or would drop her as a patient which is completely unethical! Hey geniuses ibuprofen lowers fevers, imagine that! That doesn't mean that she didn't have a fever or a headache before taking the ibuprofen and when your customer is telling you that they are feeling ill during a global pandemic, YOU SHOULD REALLY LISTEN and not make them come in or tell them you will drop them as a pateint! Find a better dentist! A safer dentist for sure who will actually appreciate and care about their clients and follow the Hippocratic oath of "first do no harm" Unbelievably bad service!

Everyone works together to make sure we have a good experience. I'm very satisfied with getting my teeth cleaned, having fillings done and even having crowns done. Won't change from here, they are the best!!

Well, I wish I had something good to say about my last experience at Lakeside Family Dentistry, but I don't. I was scheduled to get dental cleaning done yesterday. When I entered the waiting room, a nurse greeted me and asked me to sign a waiver form before she even took my temperature.
I told the nurse that I was not informed when making my appointment that I had to sign a COVID-19 waiver. I took the time and read the waiver and it went into a lot of details. For example, it stated how the transmission of COVID-19 is possible in a dentist office, especially when using aerosol devices.
At the same time, while this nurse was trying to convince me to sign the waiver, I saw another nurse take off her mask and wipe her nose with her hands. At this point, I did not feel comfortable and told the nurse that I will not be getting a cleaning today.
I called the office this morning and left a message for the Doctor to call me back. I wanted to point out what I saw because I believe it was important for him to know.
I believe that the staff should inform all the patients ahead of time that they will be required to sign a COVID-19 waiver. I also pointed out that I saw the nurse take off her mask and wipe her nose with her hands.
When I pointed this out to the Doctor, all he said to me was,
"Thank you for your time." and he hung up the phone.
I am sad that it had to come to this, I expected that the Doctor would have addressed the situation a lot better.

Confirm your insurance yourself!!! I contacted Lakeside family dentistry for a Root Canal and Crown in June of this year and provided them with my insurance information. It was confirmed that they accepted by insurance, we could proceed. The office provided exceptional care and follow up as well as recommended cleaning and treatments that my insurance covered. I paid a deducible of $535.40 and was told I had a zero balance. Two months later I received a bill for $1516.60 and was told that in reality they do not take Delta HMO only Delta Care or Advantage. I would not have had the treatments at this facility if I knew they did not take my insurance. We settled on a negotiated cost of an additional payment of $618.60 instead of $1516.60. However the ownership must be on the patient to confirm their insurance. This office will not stand behind their initial claim of coverage!!

This clinic overcharges and performs services you have no clue your receiving. Services are not explained to you and they take upon themselves to bill your insurance company for additional services needed or not. A general cleaning will cost you 300.00. If you're needing just a cleaning, you best let them know not to do anything but that. They put you in the chair and you come out 1.5 hrs. later with charges you wern't even aware of them doing until you receive the bill in the mail..
This clinic takes advantage of new patients especially if you have insurance. The office manager and receptionists are both very rude and doesn't care if you have concerns with your bill. Their reply is you signed the paperwork. Yes, I did but for services I asked for ONLY.

Lakeside Family Dentistry is the most friendly and client focused dentistry I have ever experienced. On two occasions I personally needed emergency help without an appointment. Both times they stepped up came through. I am forever grateful to the highly professional team at Lakeside Family Dentistry.

Doctor Seppi is super warm and friendly, but you get services that are not covered by insurance. Services that MAY cost me out of pocket, I should be TOLD about in ADVANCE. Feel like I'm being forced to pay for x-rays. I've been to a dozen dentists over the course of my life, and I find it really strange that this is the first time I have to pay. If you perform x-rays that are beyond the "usual" bitewing x-ray, then you should say something. It's the right thing to do.

This is the way a dentist office should be. Friendly, personable, kind, quick and efficient every time. I’ve been to many others that were only interested in numbers and unnecessary procedures to pad their profits, but you won’t find that here. A great doc and a wonderful staff!
