Sage Dental of Winter Haven

I was very disappointed. First of all, my copay was way more than usual because they didn't request my dental record, including X-rays. from my previous Dentist. Insurance doesn't cover X-rays every 6-12 months. I wasn't too upset about that. What I'm upset about is the fact that I was at the appointment for one hour and a half. They did X-rays and dental evaluation without a cleaning. Every other provider I've seen, they always do a regular cleaning, before starting a treatment plan. I have spent all this time for just X-rays and evaluation. That was a turn off for me.

If there was a zero that is what they would get! I made an appointment on 8/1/22 for today. I filled out the New Patient Paperwork on line after receiving dozens of emails, texts and phone calls confirming my appointment. I came to the office 30 minutes early, 8am for an 8:30 appointment. I was told I am not in their system. I showed the front desk staff my phone with all of my confirmations. I was told I would be added in and there would be a wait. I explained that I planned my day around this appointment. The office manager came out, Irasema Fernandez, no apology, no sense of empathy. I asked her how long my wait would be she told me there were other patients ahead of me. I showed her my phone and explained that I made this appointment on 8/1. She absolutely could care less! They have lost a patient with good insurance! By the way the waiting room is empty 😱🤬

Isabel is the dental hygienist here. She did a deep cleaning on me today. I must say she's the best...very thorough but gentle and explained everything in detail. Isabel has a wonderful, caring chairside manner. :)

I just had my first dentist appointment in 10 years. The dentist has never been my favorite place to go but I have to say that everyone at Sage Dental made my experience as best as it could be. The ladies at the front desk were very sweet and inviting. The dental assistant was gentle and patient with me. No one made me feel embarrassed for not seeing a dentist in so long. The hygienist said, “the important thing is that you’re here today.” The dentist was also very gentle and gave me advice on how to help with my TMJ. I look forward to my follow up appointments!

Holly and the rest of the team was amazing. Great service and experts at what they do. Left my old dentist Greenberg because they were not taking care of my teeth properly. Excited to continue my healthy journey with Sage.

The Sage dental was a very excellent experience as I walk out I said to myself this is surely a very good dentist office the hygiene person was very gentle and very patient and nice with very much compassion she did the ex rays, The dentist was very patient also willing to explain everything of my concerns, The dentist was also patient and nice willing to take his time and examine my situation and very clear in explaining detail to my understanding what was the problem in my teeth and gums and what I needed done and how serious was the matter and what needed to be addressed first very clear of it all . Arrived early and brought into the room to have my cleaning done right on appointment time. Within 20 minutes I was finished! Super quick and easy!
