One of my crowns had broken and I was in desperate need of a repair. I was given a day and time for my appointment with Dr. West. I had to wait a month before they could see me, but my condition was such that I had no choice. There are no easy substitutes for needing a new crown. I arrived for my appointment on the day and at the time we both agreed to. I even came early as suggested so I could fill out their medical forms. At the time my appointment should have begun, I was informed that they had canceled my appointment because they were unable to "confirm" it. We already had a written commitment for a time, place, and procedure. I came when I was supposed to. I fulfilled my part of the arrangement to the letter. They canceled me for no good reason. I did everything I was asked to do - EVERYTHING. They did nothing they were supposed to do - NOTHING. Now, I'll need to find a new dentist, and if lucky, only have to wait another month to begin the process of getting a new crown. Enduring a second month of living with the discomfort of a broken crown is not a pleasant prospect. I'm 72 years old. I guess that makes me "Old School". I was brought up with the notion that a promise was sacred. If you made a promise, you kept that promise. It was the honorable thing to do. People who don't keep their promises; people who are dishonest; people you can't rely on - well, there are words for people like that. It's tempting to use some of those words here, but I won't. Instead, for my review, I'll just say: In my opinion, Dr. West and his staff have acted irresponsibly and unprofessionally. I am saddened. I am disappointed. How do you trust someone who can so casually toss a promise out the window; especially when they know breaking that promise - that commitment, to a person with a broken crown is almost certainly going to result in weeks more of unnecessary pain or discomfort. What they did was unacceptable. Yet they did it.

My husband started going to Dr. West's office about a year ago. I went for my first time today. We both absolutely love them. Professional, polite and caring.
I was extremely nervous about my first appointment and they were just awesome. We are very grateful we found such a wonderful dentist.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr Jordana Frietas and all of the
staff. I’m a relatively new patient of the practice and had only seen Dr West once for an exam. But I’ve now seen Dr Jordana twice. Once for a filling replacement and again for a crown. She is friendly, personable, very caring and as close to painless as any dentist I’ve ever seen, and at 67, I’ve seen a lot of dentist. I will recommend her to anyone looking for a new dentist. So happy that she took over this practice when Dr West retired.
