This was my first visit with Dr. Rosa. Today she removed an old crown and did the repair and prep for a new crown, placed a temporary crown and did a filling. She did a great job and so far I’m really pleased with the results. Dr. Stephen Bruce was my dentist for 20 years and before him Dr. Jack Mooney in Pocatello for 20 years — both wonderful! It looks like Dr. Rosa is following their legacy. BTW, Christy, Dr. Rosa’s assistant did a great job as well and, of course, Junie is always wonderful.

Boise Downtown Dental is great! I chipped three of my bottom teeth in half and needed them fixed the very next day. They were able to schedule me in day-of and fill them in to make them look better than they did before!

I am new to Boise and do not currently have dental insurance. I really wanted to get my teeth cleaned, but was trying to avoid breaking the bank over a full set of x-rays and and a new patient exam. Of course I understand as a new patient, there are certain procedures that need to happen on your first visit, however paying for these things out of pocket can be rather expensive.
I had a wonderful experience with the receptionist listening to my needs and being incredibly helpful and thoughtful as I rambled about my previous medical history and how I could have some x-rays emailed to her.
My point is, the entire staff at Boise Downtown Dental worked with me and was willing to take me as a patient even though I was unable to find the most optimal conditions for my first visit. They understood, and allowed me to accomplish what I wanted to, which was getting my teeth cleaned. A big thank you to everyone I interacted with on my first visit, and I'll certainly be back in six mos to stay consistent and healthy.

As a new patient, they were very thorough in understanding my personal concerns regarding my oral health and how to proceed to accomplish my goal of keeping my teeth as long as possible. They even took the time to explain things found in my x-rays to help me understand why the suggestions they were making are important in keeping good oral health. I was very happy with the level of service I received.

I took my 6 month old daughter to see Dr. Ririe and Dr. Rosa for a consultation for a tongue and lip tie revision, and it was a wonderful experience. Dr. Ririe was very gentle with her, and made me feel very comfortable and didn’t pressure me into feeling like I need to do anything right this second. When I decide to go through with the procedure, I will definitely be going back!

Dr Steve Bruce is superb and a perfectionist; I have had two crowns in the past year and his expertise in being able to save one tooth is an example of his experience. Recently I had a night guard made because Dr. Bruce noticed that I was grinding my teeth at night. His assistant, Christy, is a perfect match for her job because she is attentive and explains processes and procedures thoroughly. Junie, at the front desk, is extremely professional and is very competent in scheduling appointments and making sure you are happy with the business side of the office. I highly recommend this practice.

The staff is super friendly, doctors are patient and listen, all the techs I've interacted with are awesome! Hands down, best dentist office I've been to. They validate parking, they're conveniently located right next door to the 9th st parking garage! Super friendly.
