My husband Oscar was the one that had the appointment. But we had great service fist of all, the staff are friendly and very welcoming. The Doctor was really nice and explained the procedure. They work well with you, payment wise and they are very professional. Best place to go even when you’re not from Pocatello!

I am a new patient, Normally I feel like anyone in the medical field looks at your file in front of you and doesn’t fully remember prior conversations you’ve had with them. Soon as my dentist sat down he asked me questions regarding my last visit before he started anything, he explained what he was going to do and answered all my questions before hand. I explained to him I have really bad anxiety and he was understanding when I needed a second to breathe, he didn’t give off any impression of being annoyed and he didn’t seem like he was rushing through my appointment. With all those factors it actually calmed my anxiety down during my appointment. After he was done I really appreciated that he made sure I was satisfied with the work that was done and he sat and answered all my questions (again without acting like he was trying to rush to the next person). After he was done his dental assistant gave me great advice on what products I could use on my mouth for future care and even went online to show me pictures of different types of floss and mouth wash to use.
My procedure..I went in with a cavity in my front teeth. For years I couldn’t find anyone to take me as a new patient but I finally called Portneuf Vally Dental and they did. I was embarrassed about my smile for so long and honestly my dentist there did an amazing job! You can’t tell I got work done on my front teeth and I am finally able to smile again without being embarrassed! I’m so impressed every time I look in the mirror at my teeth. They did an amazing job and I am very thankful/appreciative of the great work they did on my teeth.
I don’t like the dentist at all but I am very grateful for this office. If anyone is looking for a dentist or even wanting to change dentist’s I would recommend Portneuf Vally Dental! I truly believe this is the first dental office I’ve enjoyed going to.

I loved it when we 1st went in the receptionist was very friendly kind helpful they got me back pretty quickly and the hygienist and dentist were both amazing and helpful they told me everything that was wrong and even went as far as telling me how they can fix it.
