I don't know anyone who enjoys a trip to the dentist, but I am glad to recommend a place that makes the experience not awful!!! My family has had such a positive experience with Dr. Oh and Tammy that we wanted to share it. They are caring and thorough, Dr. Oh is gentle and making Tammy giggle lifts your nervous spirits. Our interactions with them and their support staff have been great.....definitely give them a try!

The staff, Melony, the dentist all are very helpful, friendly, and calming. They listen well and do everything possible to carry out what needs to be done! If like me, you've put off going to the dentist many years because of previous trauma somewhere else, GO HERE! And for Pete's sake, get your mouth cancer screening done! I’ve been coming here for several years as well as my daughter. Each time we both have been seen they try to find a way to get extra money out of my pocket. For example my daughter is getting ready to get braces and they offered sealants $25/ tooth when her orthodontist said that it wasn’t necessary. About a year ago they said I should have my bottom wisdom teeth taken out that were not even bothering me and said that my top ones aren’t necessary. Since my bottom ones have been extracted which the Dr. said it was a difficult extraction I’ve had nothing but problems. I went for my routine cleaning last week which was all I wanted and of course they did all the necessary X-rays and now they are wanting to do 3 crowns some kind of gum cleaning and want to take out my top wisdom teeth. I’m not “buying” it! They’ve also screwed up the invoicing the last couple times so I do have account credit. I was getting ready to go ahead and start their treatment plan because they scared me so much and then they try to contact my insurance company and because I recently left my job I extended my insurance through cobra. The receptionist had no idea what I was talking about. I think being in that field that they should educate their staff about situations like this. I would like to add that I have always taken care of my teeth they are white, straight, and all around in a healthy state. I never got my teeth cleaned and I’m sure I will get a huge bill for all the X-rays they did and will have to figure all of this out on my own. I left MCD in tears and fear and I will be looking for a new dentist for myself and my family.

I arrived and was immediately taken back to the room. Tammy was friendly, kind, conversational and gave excellent care & service. Dr. B promptly came in after my cleaning. Then they scheduled my next appointment while still on the room and kindly escorted me to the door. I was in & out in 20 min.

We have been going to MCD for years and love the staff. We have had excellent cleanings. My concern is how quickly the dentist works and he speaks so fast that my head spins. He does have a great smile and sweet disposition however the first time I met him I needed an interpreter.

Very friendly & professional staff. Dr. Baumgarten is very thorough and makes you feel comfortable. Highly recommend! If it wasn't for my insurance changing this would be my permanent dentist!

The staff at My Charleston Dentist was awesome at my first appt. there! Great attitude and atmosphere at the office. Would highly recommend this office!

Staff are kind and professional. I love my hygienist--who is thorough and personable. Dr. Oh's work is precise and he's the gentlest of dentists I've ever encountered.

They were so very nice here! Got the tooth that was causing me pain out immediately! Dentist had so much patience for my anxiety, he was amazing! I would definitely recommend!
