Modern Dental of Springfield

Going to the dentist is no longer a scary experience. You walk into Modern Dental, and they are all very nice and great you by name. Such a friendly, energetic atmoshpere. The lady who was helping me, Debby, was very helpful with the questions that I had. She explained what I need to do, and what to expect after I get my tooth pulled. Dr. Morley seams like such a good family person. Just a great place!

I just got an implant with doctor Hamel and I must say it went very smooth and was over before I knew it. I was very impressed with the work i have done at their office. I've been to many denist offices over the years and Modern Dental is by far the best that i have ever went too. Highly recommend to anyone.

I have been a customer of Modern Dental for over 10 years and their practice has been an unequivocal example of how a professional practice should be ran; from the friendly smiles and helpful initiative of all the staff, to the highly competent hygienists that so well complement the flow of Dr. Morley’s work. Dr. Morley is very genial and his transparency and forthrightness with his patients about his work all proves his confidence and skill in what he does. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone, of any age!

All I can say is WOW. I called Modern Dental in tears yesterday morning. I’d made 6 trips to 2 different dentists over the last 3 months after a bad filling. Modern Dental got me in for a consultation the same day. Dr. Hamel and his assistant went above and beyond to try to figure out my problem and find a way to solve it, and even though it was a FREE consultation Dr. Hamel saw that I was in pain and numbed me up (least painful shot ever, by the way) and filed down my filling and didn’t even charge a dime.

For the first time since I’ve been in pain, I actually truly felt listened to and cared for. They spent a long time looking over my xrays, checking my bite, and looking at the whole tooth to see why I was hurting. After the ONE appointment with Dr. Hamel I finally felt relief for the first time in months. And they even promised to call the next day and check in to see how I’m feeling!!! Amazing what that extra time and attention can do. I never want to go to another dentist. I was so satisfied with my experience I HAPPILY booked my next cleaning! I can’t sing the praises of Modern Dental and their team enough.

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! Save yourself money and time and go ANYWHERE else. My first appointment, I thought everything went great, everyone was friendly. I paid. I left. When it came time for my next appointment, they told me I had a balance on my account, which was weird because I had already paid the full total at the last appointment. I reluctantly paid another hundred or so dollars at the beginning of that appointment. When the end of my appointment came, I verified THREE TIMES that this was the FULL TOTAL that I was paying and that next time I come, I would not be surprised with a bill. I was assured and reassured (again I specifically asked 3 times) that this was the full and total balance and I would not have a surprise charge later. Well, MONTHS go by and I get a letter in the mail for a bill stating I owe 300 DOLLARS for that same visit. I call to inform them and I have to call numerous time with no answer. Finally, I leave a voicemail and they return my call. That got me nowhere and they threatened to send me to collections. During a global pandemic where my family got hit really hard and I am now unemployed. They would not offer a lower amount or payment plan, so now I have a 300 dollar balance I am supposed to somehow pay to collections, for something I don't feel I owe. So every single day that I cannot come up with the money, my credit is further destroyed. I dont know how anyone can run a business like this. Clearly the only reason they are still open is because they scam people out of hundreds of dollars and threaten them into forking over more money for something that was already paid for in full. Disgusted and disappointed.

Edit: As you can read above, the payment was after the appointment, not before. Report it all you want, but that is what happened. I have the call records, the bank statements, and the printed receipts from your office as well as the estimates provided before hand. I will directly provide all of this information to anyone considering this office to save them from the horrible headache I have had to deal with.

I have been a patient of Dr. Morley from the beginning of his practice. He and his staff all know my family by name. They are all very friendly and professional and go out of their way to make us feel comfortable. I have recommended several of my friends and co-workers to Modern Dental.

I recently became a customer of Modern Dental and honestly it was the best decision. They truly are helpful and do a wonderful job!! I truly recommend everyone who is looking for a dentist to come to modern dental!! You can not go wrong with them

Dr Morley and his staff are very caring and concerned about your dental health. I have had several emergency situations, and they have always accommodated my needs. I am very appreciative of all the staff.
