Just had a deep cleaning from Julie. By far, the BEST dental office I have ever been to, hands down. Julie was so completely detailed in explaining and making me aware of expectations. Let’s be honest, scaling can be very uncomfortable, but Julie giving me a heads-up, reduced any perceived anxiety and allowed me to continue the process with informed knowledge. The entire staff is welcoming, kind, and professional. Once I met Dr. Sharma, I knew he is the dentist for me. I am a retired nurse, currently a teacher, and never in my 52 years have I encountered a Dentist as complete and thorough as Dr. Sharma. I have never had a Dentist palpate my tongue and examine me for any cancerous screening. He is gentle, soft spoken, and I was at ease from the moment I walked into the office and met Mrs. Sharma, to the moment I scheduled my follow-up. This is the dental clinic for me and I am confident a future patient relationship has been formed. I recommend this office to anyone, I was over-the-moon impressed!

Staff are all very friendly. The cleaning and exam I got were thorough and my teeth felt so good afterwards. It's a very convenient location for me and a clean facility. Scheduled my fillings for the next day!
Unfortunately when I went back the next day I did not have such a great experience. The dentist was still fantastic and drilled for my fillings but then a student took over and the nightmare began. First off I feel like they should have informed me that a student would be working on me. I can go to the dental school for a HUGE discount if I wanted to be worked on by a student.
That wasn't the worst of it though. I sat there for what seemed for half an hour with the most disgusting chemical taste in my mouth and the student would not suction my mouth. I was literally gagging on my own saliva. To top it off I had turned the tv on and she kept watching it while she had her hands in my mouth. It was so unprofessional and awful. I was so excited to FINALLY find a good, close dentist that I actually teared up on the way home. What a bummer. When I told them before I left what had happened the student try to make excuses that it was teeths fault that she was bad at her job. That was the final straw. I paid 270 dollars for 3 fillings that were done by a student.
Just to end the whole experience, I woke up this morning with a huge blister on my bottom lip where the student kept her tool chafing on it throughout the whole procedure. Now every time I eat or drink it stings really bad. All for 3 fillings.
I'm really bummed out. Wasn't worth the money I paid.

I went to the office for extractions and dentures top and bottom. Dr Sharma and his staff were really friendly , competent, and professional. My dentures are fabulous and I would recommend Brookside Dental to everyone. Thanks Dr. Sharma!

Knowable would be an understatement. I was in there yesterday and had 14 teeth pulled. Dr. Sharma made it all quite painless. I was told what to expect and what I needed to do after and for the next several days. Like I said, 14 teeth pulled yesterday and today I have less pain than I thought I would have. I WILL certainly recommend Brookside and Dr. Sharma to anyone in need of a new dentist.
Follow up: 12/17/16. Got my dentures today and couldn't be happier. Dr. Sharma is one of a kind. Again he took the time to not only explain, but to listen as well. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing dental work done. Thank you Dr. Sharma

If I could give this office zero stars I would. Take it from someone who knows this practice personally. The dentist is aggressive with patients and has very little tolerance for kids. When a young child was crying and upset because of their fear of the dentist, the Dr pointed his finger in the kids face and told him to "stop it now!", so naturally the child was more terrified and wouldn't let the dentist finish the procedure. At the end of the appointment the child was upset and asked if they could still have their two toys from the treasure box (incentive for kids) Dr Sharma actually laughed in the child's face and said "No, you don't get anything, you didn't listen." Personally I don't care what a child does, the dentist is a scary experience for adults, let alone a child. This behavior isn't acceptable towards anyone, especially kids. This is not the only experience witnessed of him being rude and just plain mean towards patients. He is overly aggressive when it comes to extractions, and wont admit when a procedure is above his level of capability, instead he will put the patient through pain when he could just as easily refer them to a specialist. The Dr. allows the assistants to do things that they legally are not allowed to do, under the guise that he is right there watching the them.Dr. Sharma does not give good dental care, I've seen person after person come back due to pain or discomfort from fillings that he has done. Typically someone may need to have their filling adjusted once, possibly twice, but not the 3 or 4 times i've seen some patients come back in to get their fillings redone. When you have a high volume of your patients returning because they are in pain due to a filling you've done, you would think this would tell you that you're doing something wrong. This practice is all about the money and not about the patient care, personally, I'd rather go someplace that isn't so focused on how much my money can line their pockets. Take my opinion for what its worth, but then again, why chance it?
