I lost a crown and was getting ready for some lengthy business travel so had little time to react. Consequently had to give Hinke Dentistry a short notice for an appointment. They were able to schedule me the first thing the following morning. Procedure went perfect - was "in and out" like clock work. Plus Dr Hinke suggested that we re-use the existing crown as opposed to purchasing a new one. A big savings. I highly recommend.

It is always a tough transition to have to find a new dentist. After my first visit to Hinke Family Dentistry I was warmly greeted by Nikole and Chrissy. Immediately, they both made me feel like I was at home and welcomed. Afterwards, I met Angie who is gregarious, competent, and is a master of her craft. I feel at ease when she does my cleanings because she is gentle and explains things clearly. Finally, I held off on extracting my wisdom teeth for so many years but I trusted Dr. Hinke with doing the extractions because he put me at ease. Dr. Hinke is a humble man, with a kind demeanor, and exceeds expectations of a great health care provider. I highly recommend anyone new to the area or looking for another dentist to join the HInke Family Dental office.

I have been going to this location (in Altoona) for over 20 years, spanning the tenure of 4 different dentists. I hope the Hinke family stays a long time! My regular dental hygienist was going to be out the day of my appointment. The office called to let me know because the hygienist and I have a relationship--she is so accommodating to my extremely sensitive teeth that the staff thought that I should know about the hygienist's absence. I went anyway, experienced a different hygienist (also a long-time employee), and got along great. Besides, the sensitivity is so diminished because of several pieces of advice given to me in the last year. Such a difference.
