Afsie Dental Care

First time I came to this place I felt valued and was taken very good care off. One of my front teeth was broken and he fixed it. This was such a great moment cos I finally got my smile back but I was advised it could break from chewing bones or cutting open boxes. So my took eventually broke again after about 2-3wks during Christmas and new year period. But thank God this man was very understanding and fixed my teeth again. Now I am very careful with my teeth so that it doesn’t break again. More to that, I would definitely use his services again

Today was my 2nd time going to afsie dental. I had to get a lot of work done this last month. I had gotten 8 metal fillings as a child between 8 and 10 years old. I am now 34 years old and, started going to this dentist and, he was very informative about them which I really appreciate it because no other dentist ever said anything about them and, I like that he was up forward and honest about things. I had a total of at least 14 teeth work done and some of them had to be filed because when I was younger I had braces and, there was damage from those. he made my teeth look really nice!
The whole time Dr. Zarie was making sure I was comfortable. Was very careful and, he did his job pretty quick co sidering all the work he had to do! I definitely recommend this place. They're really good at making you feel as comfortable as possible and, ask if you have any questions afterwards.
If you are looking for a new and good dentist i recommend Afsie dental! My husband and, children go here too. They have a different dentist and she is great with them too!

I had 3 infected teeth, one was broken also!
I got in THE DAY I called, he also scheduled me to come back a couple days later ON HIS DAY OFF to fix what would normally take multiple appointments anywhere else. I cannot be any more happier that I found a dentist that actually cares! He took time to explain every step of the way & what he was going to do. Do not hesitate to schedule an appointment here! I will most definitely be back, I’m so so so happy with my results! Thank you Dr!!! 10 stars!!!

I started going to Dr. Zarei when I lived in Coralville, because it was close and convenient. My wife had to have some dental work done, and she was really impressed with his skills and his pain management. Dr. Zarei told me that dental work should not hurt. If it hurts, they will find another way to do it. I've since moved further away, but I keep coming back. He is good. He knows his stuff. He is up to date on all of the latest techniques. I would highly recommend Dr. Zarei.

2022 Update -- it really bothers me that the insurance companies care more about their bottom line, than whether the people that pay for the insurance get good dental care. The insurance companies are jerking Dr. Zarei around, and I'd rather change insurance companies than change dentists.

This dentist is really nice, i broke my rear tooth, he got me in the same day for a quick check and then set appointment to have 2 teeth pulled and 3 cavities drilled and filled. It only took an hour to do all of that work! Really impressed by the price, plus he gave me a discount! Very happy with his work.

I gave one star, because they were able to get me in quickly or else I would have gave zero stars. I had the male dentist and he acted as he was in a hurry. My first appointment was x-rays and a cleaning. I was in and out the door in 15 minutes. My second and last appointment, he re-did 6 fillings. He did not wait for the pain medication that he injected to kick in, he right away started to work on my teeth. I had to tell him that I still felt it multiple times. Instead of giving time for the pain medication to kick in, he kept giving me more medication and then right away started working on my teeth. My bite is off and I told him that. He said he couldn't see it and that I would be fine. I had my teeth done 2 weeks ago and I am still having tooth pain and my bite is still off. I will not go back. I will have my records sent somewhere else and get my fillings fixed there.

Dr. Zarei is awesome!!! Having bad anxiety about any dentist he was very understanding and went at my place. Also, he taught me some tricks to calm my nerves. He is funny and professional. He won't do anything if you're uncomfortable. Best dentist ever!!!! I would recommend him to anyone!!!

The best dentist around very friendly treats you amazing and works very hard to make sure you're happy with the work. Hands down the best experience you'll have at a dentist. Had a problem with my insurance and they worked hard to get them to fast track it and even came in on his day off to put it on for me. Do yourself a favor the next time you need to go to a dentist make an appointment here you won't regret it. Thanks for everything

Unfortunately, I had an operation at this dentist. Before the operation, the surface of my front teeth was smooth. The first night I left this dentistry, a whole piece of my front teeth fell off. Later I want to transfer to other dentistry. I have asked this dentist many times to give me my X-rays and medical records, but they all evaded me in various ways, and even refused to answer my phone. This dentist has two faces and they looked so rude after the accident. I will sue them！I know what country this is. I have lived in this country for 7 years. You don’t need malicious racial discrimination. My front teeth are broken in your dentistry. You don’t need to quibble anymore. Let go of your hypocritical face. I kindly asked you to send me a copy of my X-ray before, but you refused. Why is it so friendly now? What are you hiding? what are you worried about?

Let me start by saying this man is an amazing human being. I started calling every dental place in Coralville, Iowa City, even Cedar Rapids around 8am needing an emergency extraction. He was the only one that made me smile on the phone .. after multiple clinics rejected me or appointments were too far out; something told me to call Afsie back because I felt somehow safe going to this dental office so my boyfriend spoke for me since the pain was unbearable to even talk. I felt so relieved when he told me to come on in because I needed serious help. Before we began he gave me crackers and juice and told me I should eat so I don’t have a stomachache after the extraction. I felt like a kid in the dentist office :) Seeing the way he treat his patients put a smile on my face. This man is high in spirit! We got the extraction done and I caught my self saying, that’s it? It’s out?! I 1000% recommend this place and I never thought I’d say this but I can’t wait to go back to the dentist!
