Ever thought of the dentist and just dreaded going? NOT ME! I have Dr.Nicholson. what an AWESOME DENTIST!!!! No one like shots in their mouths, but Dr.Nocholson gives the easiest, gentlest, most pain free shots I have ever experienced in my life. He is an excellent communicator, and gets the job done quickly and well. Thank you!!!

I was honestly really scared to go to the dentist without being to one for 12 years but Dr. Whitehead is awesome and the whole place is friendly and professional. I feel at ease when I have a visit now! Can't wait for my little man to start coming in the fall.

This morning I was directed to the dental waiting area for my daughters first Pediatrics appointment due to Covid. I was helped by the most nicest male receptionist there, directed to sit in the designated EMPTY waiting room to fill out my paperwork and wait for our name to be called. I have a one year old with a double ear infection so of course there tears and wails as we wait. What I didn’t expect was an older woman with this long gray hair and bangs to come out and tell me that I needed to take myself to the small set of chairs outside of the waiting room because “that’s not where pediatrics waits.” She then went to the nice young man and began to scorn him for having me sit there. I’m so sorry my child disrupted you behind closed doors in your empty waiting room which I was directed to not only over the phone but by a receptionist. I know times are hard, but there’s no reason to be rude especially when YOUR providers are trying to make it easier for us with appointments for our children. Don’t make it anymore stressful for us, or your fellow employees.

Plan on waiting for a very long time. On average I normally wait about 2 hours and spend about 10 minutes with the dentist. The staff are very friendly but I feel they schedule too many people at the same time because the wait time is ridiculous.

Question I have never went to river hills in ottumwa I normally go to Richland because I have bad anxiety with dentist I prefer women to do any of my teeth work so my question is do they help with anxiety
