Nielson Family Dentistry

I am very disappointed with the experience with Nielson Family Dentistry. They had kept sending my billing information to the wrong address which has been the second time this has happened. I have always used the same address since becoming a patient. My spouse has dealt with the same situation for years since moving out of their parent's house. I had arrived for an appointment and they would not allow me to be seen unless a a payment in whole was made that day. They were obviously aware of the situation and flat out refused me service unless paid for. Luckily I was able to afford the bill. To add insult to injury they also billed me for appointment from two years ago under my old insurance provider. At the time it should have been paid for. Needless to say the front staff were overall very unprofessional during this entire interaction. My family and I will not be coming back for future appointments. This is a very sad situation since my in-laws have been going to Nielson for decades.

Nielson Family Dentistry has taken care of my family's dental needs for about nineteen years now. They always have friendly staff who make each visit a personal one. Even when our boys were smaller, they looked forward to going to the dentist because the staff made it fun for them. If there is a problem with our teeth between visits, they are great in working with our schedules to get us in and fix our problem. . Keep up the good work!!

Nielson Family Dentistry has got to be the friendliest dental staff in town! Dr. Nielson always takes the time to explain things, address my concerns, and is always upbeat and easy going. Making appointments is easy and I can get in quickly if needed, they are very accommodating. After going to this office for a few years, I have full confidence in Dr. Nielson and his staff and highly recommend this dental office with 5 stars!

Its always great at Nielson, you know, for going to the dentist. Savanna is my Dental Hygienist and Dr Nielson are just great. They explain everything and really make it as good as a Dentist appointment can be. Give em a try if you looking for a Dentist the whole family will enjoy.

It is always a pleasure to go see the staff at Nielson Family Dentistry. Most do not like to go to the dentist, but after 40 years of seeing the same guy, Dr Don, I look forward to catching up with him. I am the 2nd of 4 generations that have gone to Nielson Family Dentistry and I refer others often. Thanks to all who have worked there over the years and now, enjoyed each and everyone of you.

.I was totally satisfied with my dental hygienist appointment with Ashley Thomas. She is friendly, gentle, professional, and extremely competent. I definitely will request her in the future and would recommend her to others without reservation. Dr. Don was and always is fun yet professional. Love your entire staff and appreciate all your reminders so there is no reason or excuse to ever miss an appointment.

I have been a patient for over 30 years. I drive from another county because I choose not to switch dentists despite relocating my residence. This is because of the consistent professional care I have received throughout the years. My parents and child are also patients for the same reason.

My husband and I always have a wonderful experience at Nielson Family Dentistry. The commitment to patient care is top notch. Upon entering the office, from the friendly staff at the receiving desk, to the dental hygienist, to spending time with the dentist--one can tell that patient care is number one with all the wonderful staff at Nielson Family Dentistry.

My daughter started out super nervous to go to the dentist. We go back to the same dental hygienist every time because she always makes my daughter feel comfortable. The last time we were coming in, all I had to do was tell her we were going back to the same person and she was good to go. Thanks for making a nervous girl enjoy going to the dentist.

Dr. Nielson seems nice, but the front office staff is horrible! From the minute we walked in as a new patient, we were treated poorly. They are very harsh and unkind. Then, my daughter received a filling that was supposed to be tooth colored, and it was grey. It does not come close to matching her tooth. When I called to ask questions about it, no one called back. I finally called again and asked to talk to the doctor or a nurse about it, and no one was available. They said someone would call me back. No one ever did. They charged me $50 for her filling, saying that is what the deductible would be. They charged $140 for the filling, and her insurance only covered part of it, so we still had a charge of $16. That is more than I have ever paid for a filling. When I called to ask about it, I was treated with the same disrespect as before. They were very matter of fact and uncaring. I told them we needed to go ahead and cancel our upcoming appointments because we had really bad luck with them. They didn't have anything to say about it and didn't seem to even care. We will NEVER go back to this dentist and do NOT recommend whatsoever.
