I was very reluctant about going to the dentist, as is anyone I believe. So when I arrived to Hometown dental in Lancaster I was at the very least nervous. When I walked in the door I automatically felt welcome as I was greeted by a friendly face and a "hello, good morning" As I was taken back and seen by the dentist and her assistant was when I really got nervous... No matter how old you get the dentist is always a little bit scary. Surprisingly she was not scary at all, she was very nice, she asked me what my concerns were, what I didn't like about my teeth and what I wanted to work on. In 34 years I have never been to a dentist where I felt so comfortable. The staff took the time to talk about my needs and care. I would recommend this dentist to anyone. Dr. C was great! šŖ„ š¦· š

My first visit was so easy and calming. I have a fear of having dental work done. The ladies at the front desk made you feel welcomed and friendly. In the exam room she listened to my problems and took her time to make sure my needs were heard. Dr. D also made me feel comfortable and also listened to all my fears and medical problems. After studying my xrays he explained every detail to me and gave me his professional recommendation. He was very professional. I never felt pushed or felt like I was just a number. I was very relaxed. I have to say that this visit and office has to be my number one pick of all the different offices I ever had experienced. I'm so glad I picked this office over the other listings. Thank you all and I'll be seeing you soon.

Very friendly and extremely caring. I'm terrified to go to the dentist, but they made my trip pleasant. I was in a lot of pain. They gave me a referral to an oral surgeon and stopped the pain so I wasn't hurting anymore. Thanks to that, I have been pain free while I wait to get into the oral surgeon. Great atmosphere.

Hygiene appointment today : issue with them confirming my insurance/ hygienist didnāt believe me that I have coverage for a cleaning every 6 months. Then she refused to clean my teeth because I needed bit wing X-rays and said she would charge me for those as my insurance only pays once a year. I told her I could have the previous dentist send my X-rays over and she said werenāt you a dental assistant once / how did you not know this is how it works / she was very rude to me from the get go. I honestly have had a bad experience here. The restorations I have had done were placed by a dental assistant and not the dentist herself and everything was very rushed. They shouldnāt treat people like this just based on their having Medicaid. Try to go elsewhere
