Kubek Family Dentistry

I have major dentist anxiety due to an unpleasant experience when I was younger- I put off dental care for years until I found KFD. I had a temporary crown placed+gingivectomy the other day and I was anxious going into the appointment. Dr. Kubek was patient and understanding of my anxieties. He took the time to explain the procedure and answered my questions thoroughly. I was not aware that a gingivectomy was needed until I was in the chair (& this was not in his prior charting), so he kindly waived the fee for this procedure. Im relieved to have found a dentist I can trust.

I started going to Kubek Family Dentistry when it first opened in 2013. While I've had several dentists throughout my life who were all good, I cannot tell you how much I love this office and both Dr. Kubeks. They are truly a level above any other dental office I've been to. I'm definitely a superfan!

This practice was originally purchased by the excellent and charming Dr. Kristina Kubek; she was later joined by her husband, the equally phenomenal Dr. Dan Kubek. Currently only Dr. Dan is practicing as Dr. Kristina cares for their boys. Both of them have done many fillings for me, including some that were a little complicated. They are very careful with everything and don't rush at all (I have had other dentists compliment their work). If they have to stay till 7pm to finish something properly, they will. I don't know of any other dentist who would do that. They are also very understanding of my need for 2-3x the normal amount of lidocaine. They are conservative in the best way possible, always trying the cheaper and easier solution first (this is because they are both great critical thinkers who do not just rush to do another procedure that may not be necessary - they prefer the wait-and-see approach). Also, their office staff are amazing too. I love Carol! They are also cheaper than my other dentist.

I could go on and on, I love them so much. I feel like I have a true lifetime partner to keep my teeth maintained and healthy. I miss them when I haven't been in a while. The only reason I have another dentist right now is because I live 40 minutes away, but I still go to the Kubeks's for certain procedures, and I would never go anywhere else in Louisville. Definitely highly recommended if you need a dentist in Louisville. 🦷 PS, there is no issue with parking where they are now (new location off Liberty) - very accessible and easy to get to.

I first came to KFD five years ago after growing fed up with another practice. It was a breath of fresh air. Professional but personal. Great care and good advice on making a strategy for dental care. Over the years I saw them a lot and never had a bad experience, and when things didn’t go as expected (they do sometimes anywhere) the staff was great at communicating and finding accommodations.

But the real story began when I said I was leaving Louisville to move on a sailboat in the Caribbean. That set in motion a concerted and gracious effort to help me prepare. An extraction, a bridge and lots of extra hours by the staff later we were gone, but their care has never been forgotten.

I have known lots of dental practices in many cities. I know of none better or more trustworthy.

Easily the best dental experience I have ever had. Not only is the entire staff kind and friendly, they are very accommodating. I was able to get in very quickly and as someone who is usually uncomfortable in a dentist chair they ensured I was comfortable and everything I needed fixed was done to perfection. I am recommending all my friends and family in the area.

I had a crown put in yesterday, and the whole procedure from impression to crown to permanent placement was well - done.

Dr. Kubek and Dr. Kubek are wonderful dentists with the latest tools and techniques and knowledge. The hygienists are smart and congenial.

GO HERE! Really. I was on the search for a dentist in Louisville for quite some time. I decided to give Kubek a try due to their office being conveniently located near my work and home. Carol is fantastic at scheduling my appointments. All of the dental assistants are extremely sweet and the dentist himself is very professional, yet is able to explain everything in simple terms. There is not a single person in that office who hasn't been 100% friendly and welcoming to me. That sounds like common sense, but you'd be surprised at how some dental providers in Louisville treat their patients/customers.I hadn't been to the dentist in a few years, but they made certain I was comfortable and well cared for. Especially after struggling with complications caused by a previous dental care provider in Louisville. The Kubek team does a wonderful job and I feel completely confident referring my friends and family to them. My co-workers love them too! Don't waste your time/money with other dental providers, call Kubek!

Extremely pleased with the treatment that I receive here. Dr. Kubek (male) is very gentle and trustworthy, and he thoroughly explains his treatment processes. I have not had the other Dr. Kubek yet, but I am sure she is just as wonderful. I would fully recommend this office - the dental hygienists are always super friendly and helpful as well.

They did such an amazing job! I’m more confident with my smile than I have been in years. I will be returning to them for as long as I live in Louisville. Wonderful staff, patient and kind! Professional job and always had my comfort in mind (let me listen to music, asked me a lot of questions) which is a big deal because I have a little dentist-phobia! I will no longer have anxiety about going to the dentist thanks to them :) really a 6/5 star experience.

This is the best dentist I've had since I moved back here in 2009. I fired 4 before I found her. The staff is awesome! The front desk is professional, efficient, organized and caring. Dr. Kubek (female) is wonderful, she listens and takes care of what needs to be done, no fluff to attempt to add things that aren't needed. Hygienists are wonderful as well, I know my teeth are clean and they don't cut corners and they give great advice when it's needed. The office is comfortable and clean as well. I am a dental assistant so I know how things should work in a good practice and the Kubek's do them all! I wish I'd meet them from the start but all I can do now is do my best to let others know. The ONLY downside is the Starks building itself; always under construction of some sort and a little creepy. But parking is easy and you get a pass for the garage!

My son's first time going here! Soon as you walk in a warm atmosphere! The receptionist was very pleasant! The dental hygienist Ms. Pat was AMAZING! She made my son feel sooo comfortable! I just found our new dentist and will recommend them to EVERYONE!
