Friendly people (but for the flag outside these days.) I never wait long, and the dentist is a hoot. Dental hygienists are nice and do a good job. I live in Abita, so it's very convenient for me.

My son who is on the spectrum was terrified of dentists thanks to bippos house of horrors! Dr.Steve actually took time to get to know my son and put him at ease. After seeing 5 or 6 dentists who all wanted to put my baby under sedation and take the teeth out then.after multiple failed attempts to get his tooth pulled we finally found an amazing dentist who is also a man of God do what other dentists couldn't and that is finally getting my son's tooth extracted¡

This place is the best! My son was so scared of the Dentist that no one could work on him. A coworker told me about Dr. Steve, so we took our son and they were able to sit down with him, explain what they were going to do & show him all the tools. They let him hear what each tool sounded like and see what it felt like. Just taking that small amount of time removed all fear from my son. He loves going to Abita dental it’s exciting for him now.

Dr. Pfingsten is not only a remarkable dentist. He's also a man of great heart and strong Christian convictions. His mission trips to Romania brought glory to God and put smiles on many faces. He would work all night long on dentures only to make one happy. Abita Dental Care is a welcoming clinic that provides professional services. The team is nice, polite, fast, helpful, and efficient.

This office is the best!!!! I am not the best patient to have as I am use to being on the opposite end. Heather waved her magic wand and had me worked in that same day. Dr Steven was easy to work with and made me feel very comfortable and at ease.... Anyone that has an issue with this office needs a psych eval for sure! Thanks for making me all better!!!

I was very picky when I chose this Dentist. Location/convenience was a factor, but not a priority. The super friendly staff is definitely a bonus, but once I learned that Dr. Steven Pfingsten makes/designs dentures in house, and then sends them to the lab for the final product, I was thrilled!!
He listened to EVERYTHING I said and happily made every adjustment I asked for, with a smile. Five stars, across the board!! I’ll definitely recommend this place!!

Do you like Jesus and waiting? Then this is the place for you! I can't review the dentist because I left after 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. This place is not suitable for people with obligations.

RIP OFF. For a “man of GOD” he and his staff will rip you off! Charging a $15 “COVID supply fee” is Bull. Called 4 other dentist none of them are charging a “covid fee”. Shame on you Dr. Steve. 15 years I have been coming to you and you lost all faith in my family and friends. JESUS is frowning on you and your practice.
