Don’t get your wisdom teeth out here. Zero post care directions, had to call and ask for pain management well after the anesthesia wore off, the Dr didn’t even let me know when he was starting the anesthesia so I just blacked out with no warning. Pretty jarring experience. Quoted me one thing, charge me $300 more than the original quote. Just an overall bad experience. It felt like they churned you out like a number. No personal care or consideration for the actual patient in their care. Didn’t give any directions to my care team who brought me home. Operations manager was great though, really nice guy.

Everyone at the practice is very nice and pleasant from the front desk, techs, hygienist, dentists and oral surgeons they fly in. I never feel like they try to do more than necessary to up the bill like I've experienced other dentists try to do. I get my routine dental work here and I've recently had my wisdom teeth removed. Happy with everything!

Unfortunately this totally inept dental practice was recommended to my 85 year old father by his insurance company for repair of a broken bridge. He was told that his remaining bottom teeth should be extracted and replaced with a bottom denture. Since the replacement he has been in constant pain. He has returned on numerous occasions to have the denture realigned to no avail. After getting a second opinion about the reason for his discomfort, he was diagnosed with having a bone protruding from where his teeth were extracted! That dentist recommended that he return to the oral surgeon of this practice. When he returned the bone was removed but the dentures are still ill fitting to to the point that he has lost 20lbs from not being able to eat solid food! Each time he returned, he was billed for the visit! They are now recommending implants for an additional charge, after initially paying thousands of dollars up front ,for what he thought would be a simple fix! My next step is to file a malpractice claim! I do not recommend this practice!

I was WAY TOO nervous when I got there but my fears were allayed after a bit. My next appt I will not be in a hurry so I hope the topical numbness can be applied! Thank you for a good cleaning! I can tell the difference between the right side and the left!

My experiences with Acadian Modern Dentistry have been overall positive. Visiting the dentist isn’t a fun experience but the staff and Dr. Girod we’re friendly, competent, and considerate of my comfort

I’ve had a great time with the staff here. Dr Tony is hilarious and works hard to get you long lasting results. They’re accommodating and listen to you. I would definitely recommend him to anyone!

I debated posting… right before Christmas I went in as a new patient hoping to have this office as my routine dentist visits. I removed a previous review because it was during the holidays and I decided to just move on, find a new dentist and forget about this place. But then we received a breakdown of my visit from our insurance company. I’m pregnant and there were two X-rays shown on the bill. One being a panoramic X-ray.
Every other place that I talked to after this visit said there’s no way they would have had me do any X-rays being in the first trimester of my pregnancy. My husband and I have called trying to see if this was a mistake and no one from the office has called back. My husband left a message with me present to give my consent if needed, and the person he talked to said she would pass the message on and we’d get a call back on his phone to confirm. That has yet to happen and it’s been a week.
I was told at that visit that I would need what they described as oral surgery because I have severe gum disease. This “procedure” was expensive based on the info they gave me after speaking to the dentist. He came to this conclusion after only looking at pictures of my teeth/mouth. I never saw a hygienist and never had a cleaning during my visit. I went to a new dentist this week and the hygienist told me that it wasn’t the first time they’ve heard this. She did a detailed cleaning, removed any build up and said there was nothing severe happening. The dentist came in to confirm. My husband has been seeing my new dentist since he was 12.
After reading multiple reviews, which I should have done beforehand, I can see I made the right decision to not follow through with Acadian Modern Dentistry and got a second opinion.

I’ve been trying to call this office since last week trying to reschedule my appointment. I have not been able to reschedule online as they give a message saying they’ll reach out. They have not returned my calls and when I do call I get an answering service that leaves them a message for me. Really frustrating.

I don't know where to start with this office other than oh my gosh. I only been coming here maybe like six months and the best dental experience i ever had. I been to many of dentist and specialist that tried d=to do things in my mouth that just made me uncomfortable and still unsuccessful but not here. I will start with the professional level and the face of the place! When you go in you are greeted by Kaycie or Kim and the level of professionalism is amazing! they remember you and your name just say good morning and they are already on it! Dr. Girod educated me on my teeth and im on the road to a perfect smile (need another root canal but thats it). Also, to get the root canal done there by amazing specialist that care and educated you as well it mind blowing and my recovery time be amazing i only be out that day if that! I went in yesterday for cleaning and check up Heather is amazing the conversations a long with the education she gives keep the appointment from being a drag like most places. She even give praises for clean happy teeth when she sees the difference from a last appointment. The staff is so knowledgable and make you feel like family here! I can not forget Selena and Rebekah they are amazing to i tell anyone to go here! Than right by trader joes i love running to get my flowers and dinner after an appointment! LOL This place without a doubt is a 10/10!

I went there for a routine visit. The staff is nice and the wait time was short. The dentist answered all of my questions and had a good bedside manners. I had an issue with a bill and they called me to get it fixed right away. I appreciate their professionalism and need to satisfy their patients.
