If your children get Medicaid finding a good dentist office is hard!!! No, I'm not complaining about free care which is they only help we get and I'm more than greatful. I'm just stating facts. Even though they get Medicaid we have paid out of pocket for better care. You don't want to know my Care Credit balance. Any way, Louisiana Dental Group on Rue Louis is AMAZING!!! Very clean, very friendly and very educational to the kids. They explain the reasons why they need to do certain things for their teeth. They spoke directly to my son instead of going through me the parent. Which in my opinion holds them accountable for the care of their teeth as my son is 15. I do not brush his teeth anymore. I highly recommend this dentist's office.

This is the worst office I have ever dealt with. After waiting MONTHS to fill my child’s cavities and wasting months of our time when we could have gotten actual medical care, they dropped an appointment for not speaking with me on the phone to confirm the week before! This office does not care about its patients or about the oral health of the children waiting and waiting to be seen. Shame on this place. Please, do NOT waste your time here. I would never ever recommend this place and their horrible and unclear policies and procedures. Oh they also do not list a clear website on Facebook so there’s NO WHERE that these “policies” are written down. Do not go here. Waste of time and absolutely horrible Office.

My Daughter has been going here for maybe about 1 year. Never had an issue, never been late, never missed an appointment. Except for one recently in January which was scheduled 3months out. And because we did not confirm this appointment this one time she was completely dropped as a patient. I changed my number and did not get a confirmation text/call and didn’t confirm, completely forgot about the appointment. So if you go here please read the “company policy” because they will not work with you if you make even one mistake

I hate to be a Karen but I am very upset right now. 0 stars they cancelled my son as a patient due to me trying to reschedule the same day as his appointment. Things come up and things happen. They really need to give a bigger window for when "life" happens... Not to mention I feel like it is just towards the patients that have Medicaid. If you ever have something come up and need to reschedule just know your child will no longer be a patient.
