Broadway Dental Excellence

I LOVE this dental office and their staff. I’ve been going to Broadway Dental Excellence for more than 30 years (back when it was just called Broadway Dental) and have been more than satisfied with the care I’ve received over these many years. I’m currently going through the SureSmile treatment plan to straighten my teeth and Lynn, the Business Manager, has been a Godsend helping me navigate the insurance end of things and always has a friendly smile and a “Hi Jen!” when I walk in. Dr. Blanchette is always super friendly and keeps me on the right track with making sure the straightening trays I’m using are doing what they’re supposed to be doing and Kristin at the front desk could not be sweeter. Linda M. is my go-to hygienist…she’s awesome! Honestly, I have not met a single member of their staff that hasn’t been friendly professional, knowledgeable and very accommodating. Take the negative reviews with a grain of salt knowing there are always a few people who are never satisfied no matter what you try to do for them.

Lynn, the Office Manager, was absolutely atrocious to work with. I honestly can't believe an otherwise decent practice is represented by such a horrible person.

After reading the arrogant, impolite, dismissive responses Broadway Dental Excellence made on every single negative Google review left by other dissatisfied customers, it became clear that I never should have expected anything better than what I received. Do yourself a favor and avoid a horrible experience like mine - go somewhere else.

Horrible place!!! The office lost my X-rays, scheduled me for the wrong appointment and Dr Blanchette hit a nerve in my face while administering novacaine and while I was sitting there with tears streaming down my face from the pain, she didn't apologize or have any empathy. She is a very cold person, I do not recommend this dental office.

I realize most dentist do not or will not accept Maine Care or Medicaid, but this office would not even except cash payment because I am a recipient of said insurance (or lack there of).

Dr. Tozer and his staff are professional, friendly and make you feel at ease. You can sense immediately that he loves what he does and it shows!! He's extremely knowledgeable and informative. He truly cares for his patients and doesn't treat you like a number. Thank you so very much for making "going to the dentist" a pleasurable experience. It's great when you leave the dentist's practice with a smile on your face.

Dr. Tozer and the entire staff at Broadway Dental are wonderful! They are personable, competent and efficient. Our entire family, goes to Broadway Dental for cleanings and dental procedures. We have bright smiles because of the care we receive and feel very confident in the products and services that are offered. Well worth every penny!

Horrible phone service. Won't even discuss pricing without you paying for visit. You know what that means when you show up. I would avoid or be prepared to pay.

Sure wish I had known about these folks before I wasted several thousand dollars and many months of misery elsewhere. Dr Tozer fixed what 3 others wanted to pull (thank you thank you). The dentist is not fun but this was by far the easiest experience of all the prior places, much gentler, entire staff is polite and personable. They take time to explain the new technologies, show you the items on the computer (amazing) and answer the questions in understandable language. The prices are not cheap but less than I expected and very competitive. We will positively go there again.

I made the switch to Broadway Dental Excellence several years ago now, after going to another area practice for 25+ years. I was amazed at the technology...miles ahead of the practice I formerly used. And the people are all wonderful...they make going to the dentist as fun as it can be! Dr. Tozer is a skilled dentist and his "chairside" manner is unmatched. I've had Dr. Blanchette take care of a few emergencies when Dr. Tozer was not available and give her high marks, as well. I have had everything from routine fillings and cleanings to a complicated implant and some minor cosmetics. I highly recommend this practice to anyone.

Dr. Tozer medically scammed me and pulled teeth unnecessarily and lied. He said it would make them straighter, less painful. Before surgery I had zero pain and no problems. Now years later I still have jaw pain every single day. The procedure also made my teeth more crooked than ever.
