Staff is very friendly ! They don't criticize you on the condition of your teeth they try to help you improve the quality of your teeth. If you are not a dentist fan this is the place to come they make you feel relaxed and that you have the ability to stop if needed. I had lost a filling. Had no pain thankfully. Office was able to get me in in just a couple weeks. Dr. Buxton was able to replace it with no problems. There was absolutely no pain whatsoever involved. I went from an amalgam (silver) filling to a resin (white filling). It was a huge filling. More filling than tooth but he was able to work his magic and I walked away with the filling I requested. Dr. Buxton and his staff are top notch. Very professional yet relaxed and very friendly. I could not have asked for any better service. I definitely made the right choice when I chose Maine Family Dental for all my dental needs.

I have been coming to Maine Family Dental for more than a dozen years, and the staff is fantastic - friendly and professional. The dental care is great as well, when I needed a crown the one day crown process was wonderful - loved getting it done in one day, and the crown looks beautiful and has been fine. When my husband (a patient for even longer than me) had a dental emergency on a weekend, they returned his call quickly and got him in first thing on Monday morning. We are in good hands with Dr McGarr and Dr Buxton, and their dental and office staff.

The ladies at the reception desk were more than helpful during my transition from another dental office and made the process pain free. Dr. Buxton made me feel comfortable upon my first visit. I had a bad experience with another dentist and Dr. Buxton addressed my concerns tremendously.
The dental assistants are basically Dentists, they all seem to be very knowledgeable and communicate very well with Dr. Buxton.
