Their office is on the lake, exam rooms offer beautiful views of water, wildlife, camps, very calming. I am a very anxious person when it comes to the dentist, but this office is always accommodating. The staff is friendly, Dr Annis is knowledgable, listens, and is always respectful of both his staff and patients. My 4 and 5 year olds both LOVE going to the dentist because of the staff. The office is also very clean. I would highly recommend this office to anyone.

My husband had a crown done in Florida last fall and it bothered him back then and they readjusted it but never seemed perfect! Then the dentist office burned so he didn’t get back to the office to have it looked at again and then Covid -19 came along so he has been dealing with it but not been bad until we returned to Maine for the summer ! A few days ago it really became a huge problem and became very painful and his face swelled! I called to make an appointment and we were very pleased with the care and concern we received from the office help! We got an appointment for 10:30 the next morning and then were called that they had a cancellation and he could go right in at 8:30! The whole experience was wonderful ! The tooth was pulled and preventive care was done and we couldn’t be more happy with the whole office! Thank you so much! We would recommend this dental office to anyone!

Mountain View Dentistry has always been a high quality dental practice. They have always been very accommodating to my schedule, fitting me in urgently, and what a view! I do miss the paraffin wax hand dips and the cheerful front desk person. Dr. Annis is friendly and so are the hygienists, and it's close to home.

Awful experience. If youre an adult or have a child who has a general fear or anxiety around the dentist do not go here. Hygienist was rude, rushed, and judgemental during cleaning, made countless negative and accusatory comments throughout my appointment. Not to mention was interrupted and took multiple personal phone calls. Scheduled an appointment for the following week for a filling but had to reschedule day of, they called 8:30 in the morning and I had just been called into work- my appt wasn’t until after noon...(really no explanation needed, they were welcome to charge my insurance for a last minute cancellation if that’s their policy) but the secretary (Erin?) was so nasty to me she ACTUALLY made me cry. This is why people avoid the dentist for years on end. Awful awful awful.
