Saco River Dentistry

The staff at Saco River dentistry are kind, compassionate and caring. Not only do they take good care of your teeth, they are now helping me with sleep apnea! Ray has helped me with a sleep study and the referral to a physician. I could not have imagined that a dentist office would help with sleep issues. Wonderful people, great responsive service.

I chose Saco river due to reading such great reviews and I could see why everyone rates this place so highly after my first initial visit.The dentist has always been my worst enemy due to prior dental work when I was younger but not anymore!.Dr. Jessica Hines and staff made me feel very comfortable from start to finish on any of the procedures I’ve had done so far. They really care for there patients and I have nothing bad to say about this place. Great place Great atmosphere. 5 stars.

I have been to many different dentists in the past 50 years and Dr. Roy is by far the Best dentist I have ever met!!! He is so down to earth and very knowledgable, caring and friendly!! It was obvious from speaking with him about my dental needs that he truly cares about me and not the money! His staff is also very professional and friendly. The office is very cozy and welcoming. I highly recommend this dental practice!!! I give it 5 stars!!!

“My root canal was so much fun!” exclaimed no one ever, aside from I, Brandi Love, after my experience with Dr. Reagan and his fantastic assistant, Ashley. It’s not easy to laugh during such an invasive oral procedure, but Dr. Reagan and Ashley had me writhing in laughter rather than in the pain I had anticipated. The entire staff is delightful, and the office has implemented incredible COVID-19 procedures that made me feel comfortable and safe whilst having a root canal performed during global pandemic. My child had been previously scarred by another dentist at just for kids who pulled my child from my lap and held him down to complete the cleaning. When becoming a new patient with this office I explained my concerns and how this incident affected my child. I've never seen such compassion and respect for his boundaries. Amy is a wonderful hygienist and we have found the perfect office for us. Simply put- this is the best dentist office we have ever encountered!

Called with a question regarding a bill I had received after already paying. I spoke with Kate, the office manager. She was everything but helpful, she was condescending and finished our conversation with “it is, what it is”. It’s unfortunate, the office is beautiful, wonderful hygienists and dentists. Be lucky she is managing a dentist office and not addressing the nation regarding COVID deaths. Kate-take a page from your associates and don’t be so rude.

I have been so very happy of my choice of switching to saco river dentistry! Dr. Roy and all of his team that ive had interactions with so far have been very professional and friendly! The environment is super clean and relaxing like being at home. Im just finishing up with the invisalign and am proudly smiling for pictures now with straight teeth! I definitely am glad i walked through the door and definitely would recommend saco river dentistry to anyone!!!

I have been a patient here for several years and always felt very comfortable and tended to. My last visit on Wednesday didn't feel the same. I felt like a new patient in a chain office. The staff is still very friendly but unfamiliar and the dentist I saw for a 3 minute "exam" talked to me about cosmetic work to clean up stains and attempted to sell me a paste for sensitive spots and I was charged $62 for it. My cleaning wasn't as thorough as in the past and left me in pain from cut gums. Just a little disappointed.

The facility and equipment seem great and modern, and the hygienists seem competent, but the reception/front desk workers and dentist that I saw were poor at communication at best and rude at worst.

Besides not explaining the actual cost of certain procedures when asked point blank, nor explaining the cost would change based on if I had insurance or not, they also didn't explain that they had booked a different and not discussed procedure in place of what was the continuation of a procedure already in progressed (an emergency root canal to then continue into a full cap/crown)

I would give it one star but some personnelwere friendly and knowledgeable enough

For over 5 years I have been a patient at Saco River Dentistry. I was there when the location was a run down cape style house transformed in to a dentist office. A couple of years ago they knocked down the old and built a state of the art dental building absolutely stunning,looks like a lodge. Saturday something happened to my back tooth. Very painful all weekend,no sleep,taking tylenol and advil every 4 hrs no relief. I called today at 6am left a message on the emergency line. Call from them at 9:00 triaged then nothing. I call at 11 left message. Finally at 1 she calls and says we are waiting to hear from the dentist. 2:00 then 3:00 I call left message. I am in soooooo much pain I ended up calling another dentist office who will see me early morning ,how nice of them taking on someone new and they had never seen. At 3:30 while on the phone with the new dentist my dentist office calls. She said the dentist wants to see me stating its definitely an emergency. Then she says it will cost me $225 for an emergency fee and that doesn't include the charge for the visit. I was appalled! After stating my frustration I fired them. She had the nerve to say have a nice day after all day being in pain. I never mattered to them I have been a patient for a long time. How disheartened i am. That is just greed and taking advantage and making corna virus an excuse for charging extra to pay for the over indulgence the new building has cost them. In the meantime I still have severe pain but I thank god I will be seen by a new dentist tomorrow who will not charge me an emergency fee. Rant over sorry it so long. #toothpainsucks
