I called to get my Granddaughter seen here. She has a lot of anxiety about the dentist. I was so impressed with the next day appointment and the carefulness the hygienist and Dr. Took with her. In the words of an 8 1/2 year old she liked that they spoke in front of her, it helped her trust them, and she liked how they explained their every move. Highly recommend this practice. The office is beautifully decorated for the added home feeling.

Dont waste your time or money, scheduled a cleaning as a new patient after all the xrays and everything els there was no time to do the cleaning, i scheduled it because i have issues with my teeth and build up causes pressure and its uncomfortable. After what was supposed to be a cleaning appointment i was expected to wait over 2 months for my cleaning mind you i took the day off figuring it would be a lenghty appointment being a new patient. Nope wasted my time to be told to come back again. Called another office and got scheduled for later that day cleaning was done and happy with the new dentist. Do not waste your time here. Seems to me they are just taking advantage of insurance to pay for the brand new building. Save your time and money and go somewhere els

I just cannot say enough great things about this practice. They’re lovely. The front staff are always super friendly and helpful, and the waiting area is very pleasant. My hygienist is really encouraging when I go in for cleanings and has given me great advice that is improving my gum health. And the dentist is AMAZING. I used to have a paralyzing fear of dentists, but his calm, friendly attitude, PAINLESS Novocain shots, and excellent work have completely turned that around. As long as I live in Maine, I want to continue coming here.

In addition to the great staff at Hermon Family Dental, Dr. Phillips is one of the kindest and most advanced dentists in the area. He has great bed side manner and treats people the right way. His facility is the cleanest and most advanced in all of Maine that I've seen. It's rare to have a dentist who knows how to treat patients well and can do the high quality of work that he does. Dr. Phillips is a true gem for Hermon and the surrounding areas. I would recommend Dr. Phillips to anyone!

Great staff, from receptionist to dental hygienist to dentist. My son loves this dental office; perfect setup for kids and adults alike. The staff are so patient and understanding with kids and Dr. Phillips is fabulous with children, completely relaxed any anxiety, and made my son laugh so much! One of the best experiences I've had in a dental office! Dr. Phillips is really knowledgeable and caring. Starting with a very welcoming atmosphere, comfy waiting room and finishing with certainly impressive new state-of-the -art dental equipment. (After moving 5 times in 10 years, I have been to a few different offices, so I know the difference...) Highly recommend!!

Dr.phillips is great! Professional service, always does the right thing for his patients. Very happy with their practice and would highly recommend them to anyone! My whole family goes there. He's awesome with kids too and they even have a great waiting area for the kids with games etc. brand new state of the art office with tv screens on the ceilings, computerized records. The way it should be!

One of the best dental practices around! It feels warm and inviting right when you walk in. The kids run right over to the kids area and when their name gets called they get excited to be able to lay back and watch a movie while their teeth get cleaned! Dr. Phillips is very professional and knowledgeable in what he does. The staff is very helpful and friendly as well. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new dental office!
