I was a non patient with a dental emergency. Very accommodating on getting me in for an appointment immediately. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Office was clean and followed all protocols concerning covid-19.

Dr. Upzurvis made several wrong calls when I went in to fix a chipped onlay. He mistook good tooth for onlay, cements for cracks, and set me up for an electrosugery without proper preparation. After this invasive procedure, I was told that this procedure would not help me and we'd have to wait several weeks and I would go back in for crown lengthening surgery. It was one missed call after another and I lost trust in the practice.
I had the procedure done at my general dentist when she was able to reopen after COVID-19 restrictions were lifted and she secured proper PPE. She noticed that much of the onlay he removed was still in tact, and was able to complete my procedure without this proposed surgery. Dr. Upzurvis also prescribed several prescription drugs that did not seem necessary, and unethically billed my insurance that the crown he prepped was completed, which led to a billing nightmare for me to unravel.
Perhaps the provider was burnt out due to COVID, but sadly I as the patient had to suffer from several missed calls. It was a very traumatizing experience and I would not recommend this practice.
