When I first came in the office Dr. Jay actually recognized me from an old office he once worked. It was such a pleasant surprise he could take a few moments to catch up. I have been looking for him for a year, and was so happy to find him. I live in Sterling Heights, so the little bit of a drive is just fine when you have such a great doctor. And, it was so nice to have office personnel, as well as the hygienist, who are personable, professional, courteous and respectful yet in no way stuffy. Am I saying too much? :) I had digital x-rays, my teeth cleaned, and the usual check up with the doctor. Not that I love dentists, who does?, but it's nice to be in a place where they work hard to make you relaxed and comfortable for patients of all ages. Definitely give them a try. They are all well worth it. By the way, parking is a bit crazy but if you come in off of Woodward, the best spots are in front of the building.

Dr.Jay did some bonding on my front teeth that turned out absolutely beautiful! I would highly recommend him for any cosmetic dentistry that you may be considering.
The staff is great and the office is clean and appears to be taking every precaution necessary to keep their patients healthy. I give them an A+!

There is good and there’s the best, and by far that was the experience i had at the Birmingham Dentistry. The friendliest staff and the facility was very clean and very well put together. It made me feel very comfortable and relaxed there. And by the way Dr Jay has the lightest hand. I’m a big baby when it comes to getting poked but here I never felt a thing.
Love my hygienist Neta here as well, it’s her flossing technique that keeps my gums in great condition. So professional and yet they are so caring. They are like family. I would highly recommend them!

Great staff! Very knowledgeable and excellent transition for Dr. Foley's patients.
It is amazing how much can change in a month! What I thought was a great transition is not so. None of the original staff is left. I really have no complaint with Dr. Stone or the new staff. That said I have gone from being a patient to a Corporate point of sale. I always considered my Dentist as important as my primary Doctor. After the events of the last month their is no personnel connection. Changes which I have seen are profit moves and are Corporate not Doctor decisions. Just my opinion.

I had the BEST dental experience with Dr. Jay and Neta the hygienist! The office is so clean and very welcoming. The front desk was so accommodating to my needs. Dr. Jay is by far the best dentist I have seen, he is very well versed in his field and I felt so comfortable. Neta is an excellent hygienist. She cleaned my teeth so nicely and I left there with my teeth so much cleaner and whiter than going in. I HIGHLY recommend paying a visit to Dr. Jay and Neta, you will NOT be disappointed!

I've been a patient here for, gosh, it has to be more than 15 years. Dr. Jay Stone took over the practice a couple years ago. I love this dental practice so much that I drive an hour and a half to get there - one way. Seriously. I live by Lansing so there are many, many dentists closer to me but Birmingham Dentistry is so great that I will never go anywhere else.
My hygienist is Ann. She is funny, professional, and gentle. I have dental fear issues and she has always taken great care of me. She's awesome and I would recommend her to anyone. (Go Ann!!)
Dr. Jay is new to me but I have felt so comfortable with him each time I've come - which is not automatic for me because, again, dental fear. Dr. Jay has a great chair-side manner and is, more importantly, a truly skilled dentist. On my very first visit, he recommended a fix for a long-standing cosmetic issue and now I have the smile I've always wanted in addition to the team taking great care of my dental health. I highly recommend him.
They explain my x-rays and the results of my dental exam to me each time and I always walk out feeling like I really understand what's going on with my dental health.
Last but not least, their billing and front office practices are fantastic and stress free. They do a great job of predicting how much (if anything) I'll owe after insurance and they are super helpful.
All around, if you need great dental care, this is the place to go!!

They are friendly and helpful and willing to work with you when it comes to paying for a procedure. The office is clean and they always get you in and out on time. And Dr. Jay Stone is an excellent dentist who explains what he is doing and why he is doing it and offers you time to think about it too if you need future treatments.

Edited to add: I've been there twice since they reopened with the Pandemic concerns and it's being handled WONDERFULLY!
I work in healthcare and am overly aware of precautions that need to be observed due to covid. Dr. Jay and staff are going above and beyond CDC recommendations to keep themselves and everyone being treated safe! I'm absolutely comfortable going for necessary treatment with the commendable efforts being made! ****
Dr. Stone (Dr. Jay) is the only dentist I'm willing to go to. His honest, caring and compassionate attitude is better than any dentist I've ever known. I've never felt like I was going to "get a talking to" or given lectures about issues with my teeth, he just comes up with a plan that works for both of us to fix what needs to be done and educates me on how to avoid more issues in the future.
At my last visit when I looked in the mirror I started crying because my teeth are actually something I don't feel embarrassed about anymore. And it's so evident that those are the moments he works hard for in his career.
His staff are compassionate and knowledgeable and always make me feel welcome.

I was patient of Dr. Foley for almost 40 years he was the best. I have Delta Dental through GM and have never had a problem. I called for a cleaning appointment and went to the appointment. The total bill for the cleaning and X-rays was going to be over $700.00 with my part to be $167.00 I might be old but I'm not stupid this charge is plain ridiculous. I highly suggest you get a second opinion before wasting your time and money here.
