My Community Dental Centers ~ Monroe

I came in for an emergency appointment and was seen within 20 or 30 minutes of arriving. Had x-rays and saw a doctor very quickly. They even managed to work in a cleaning while I was there! The staff was so friendly and efficient. The office was clean and had all the fancy new equipment.

The staff was wonderful. Thanks so much for making our dental appointment comfortable and fast. I would recommend this place to everyone. Dr. Hile, Kara and Diana are awesome! I’m deathly afraid of the dentist and they made my sister and I feel very comfortable. Thank you Ladies!

first fillings I have had in years, didn't feel a thing, no pain at all, The dr. was really nice and so was the hygenist!

Awesome team. Haven't been too a dentist in awhile and they have been so very kind to me. Very relaxed group to see. Mostly if u are like me and get very nervous about going to the dentist. Would highly recommend them to all of my friends and family. Thank you to all the staff.

I've never liked going to the dentist and I can honestly say the people at this facility didn't make me feel that way!! The dentist, Dr. Rashid, is amazing! So personable and gentle!!! Made me feel so comfortable! And Bobby, one of the hygienists, sweet as could be, and went above and beyond in every aspect! Couldn't recommend this place more!

My son just had his first dental appointment here. He is 2 years old so we know it can be scary at that age. However both the dental hygienist and dentist were amazing about making him feel calm and comfortable during his first visit. It was a very pleasant experience.

Everyone is very friendly here and treat their patients very good. This is definitely the best place to go to see a dentist in Monroe county.

I have been taking my children to this dentist for over seven years. In that time I have seen pretty much the entire staff turnover. My son’s filling and cleaning appointment was during the shut down so during my daughter’s recent appointment I rescheduled both of his. I scheduled it back to back and at the end of her appointment they gave me a printout of all future appointments. I showed up to his and and called from the parking lot and was told that I never confirmed so it was cancelled and also that I missed his appointment at 12:30 (it was 2:15). I told her I scheduled it for 2:15 and 2:50. I don’t know where 12:30 came from. I was never aware of any change. She told me that it was always that and continued to argue with me. I had proof at home of the appointment times. I know I was right. I also asked how I was supposed to confirm anything if I never got a call. And she said that I got a text. I looked and all my texts regarding MCDC were for my daughter - none for my son. I told that I don’t have any texts and she still argued that I got them I told I will come in and show her. I was so frustrated. And it’s like she didn’t care. My autistic son is in the back seat listening and was getting upset. I ended up rescheduling. I found out when I called the 877 number there were 2 two different numbers in my sons profile and the other number got the text. So then about three days before his appointment I called and confirmed. The morning of the appointment my son woke up with 102 temp and a cough/congestion. So obviously, I called to inform the office and reschedule but they told me they can’t reschedule at this time. And 2 days later I got a letter to withdraw treatment without any explanation. When I called she said he missed 3 appointment and that was their “policy” Even though he woke up sick. Even though they changed his appointment without notice. Even though I never received any reminder texts to confirm and I still showed up for. She kept say that was “policy” and that I signed it. She sounded like a broken record. Like I knew he was going to wake up sick. In seven or so years I’ve been bringing my kids there that was the only time I called to cancel in less than 24 hrs. I was so frustrated arguing with her. I told her to cancel my daughter’s as well. I will be going elsewhere.

I just wanted to inform you that the office staff are very rude. They could’ve handled it a lot differently. Also, how is that even fair?

New dentist, Dr. Carlson and the new team are the best. I worked in dentistry for 8 years, so I know when the team is experienced and enjoying their jobs. Thanks to everyone for a fast and easy cleaning and filling.
