Even during COVID I received exceptional service from the entire staff. They work as a well oiled machine. The protocols they followed put me at ease. The texting / email communication was timely and user friendly. And, best of all, the Invisaligners worked wonders in this 63 year old mouth.

1. Dr. K and the staff always make time for me and my questions. They are cool, nice to talk to, and they make my visits something to look forward to.
2. They have clear porcelain braces for my top teeth which are cool.
3. I walked into Tip of the Mitt Orthodontics in the summer of 2017, they took one quick look at my teeth and jaw, and my life has improved dramatically for the better once treatment started. They recommended jaw surgery which fixed my smile, snoring, speech problems, poor sense of smell, chewing issues, and made exercise easier.
4. When i compared prices for orthodontia treatment I found them to be competitive if not cheaper than most of the other ones I looked at.
5. They have two nice offices in Grayling and Petoskey which makes scheduling appts easier.

And that is where I I found this orthodontist office with this amazing staff! From the moment that I called to inquire some information I felt so comfortable! My 8 year old daughter was referred to the orthodontist by her regular dentist in Petoskey. We had consultations with 2 orthos in town and decided to go with Tip of the Mitt- their plan was less invasive and more cost effective in the long run. She feels very comfortable in their office, everything is explained to her before anyone does anything, and so far she has zero qualms about the orthodontist. We've been very happy with Tip of the Mitt.

This is the only orthodontist I've been to where they will not give you an estimate after a consult visit. You must pay $240 for records before they will give you an estimated cost/treatment plan. I've been to two other orthodontists for consults, and they both outlined treatment plan/cost at the conclusion of the consult appointment. Disappointing, waste of time.
