As a new resident of Rochester, I found myself in dire need of a dentist. A crown had come loose and it needed be fixed quickly. After searching the internet and reading all the reviews of Gentling Dental and combing through their website, I chose them. They were able to see me the next business day. The staff were cheerful and accommodating and Dr. Ryan was caring, explained everything and was able to repair my crown. So thrilled to have found this Dental Office and plan on it being my permanent dental facility.

February 2022 update
Office manager responded to January review and we are all set now and will try again on February 2.
I needed teeth cleaning in January 2022 because I could not get back to my home dentist for over a year. I provided new paperwork weeks before the 9AM appointment clearly showing I could not have x-rays.
January 2022 update
They called me at 8AM on appointment day to say their "standard of care" requires x-rays. I asked if I could sign a waiver but of course the person on the phone was not the doctor and said no. Thus, they canceled the appointment.
I think their "standard of care" overruled this patient's need. More legal than medical. A signed waiver would have done the trick.

I was so pleased with all aspects of my appointment from Dr. Melissa’s thorough exam and thorough explanation of potential areas of concern and suggestions on how to prevent any worsening of situations to excellent cleaning by Anna. Her concern for my comfort was exceptional and only matched by her thoroughness. I highly recommend this practice - everyone - from moment you walk in and are greeted by very professional and friendly staff to dentist and hygienist - is clearly committed to delivering the highest quality of dental care and to patient safety and comfort.

On my very first visit to Gentling, I was blown away by the attention to detail and personable care that Dr. Melissa provided. My exam with her never felt rushed and she spent more time and caught things that my previous dentist did not. I thought this was maybe just how they treated new patients, but I have been going to Gentling for about 2 years now and this is the kind of care I get every single time! At Gentling Dental I was treated as if they really cared about my dental work. They were not my primary dentist but they got me in a got me in and took care of me way faster is way faster than my primary dentist. They sensed an urgency in my dental care and that was impressive.
