After moving to Sartell I was hesitant to switch from my dentist who was in Sauk Rapids. I was happy with my Sauk Rapids dentist and was afraid of change. I decided to make the jump after hearing so many great things about Medical Arts Dental. I had my first appointment at Medical Arts Dental today and it went great. The staff were very helpful and professional. I even requested to be done by a certain time and they were able to complete their work and get me on my way right on time.

Normally I hate dentists. Not them personally but going to the dentist. Unless we're Hollywood models with perfect white teeth I think we all do to a degree. And dread going. After my last experience at artistic smile (getting the wrong prescription, choking on a cotton ball, novacaine needle before the numbing gel took effect, insurance reading issues etc) I was less than eager to see another dentist but had a tooth chip and needed a filling asap so had to make the trip. DR JULIE was GREAT! She had great conversation, told me everything up front as it was happening, good with my eye contact if she needed to let me swallow or say something g. And after getting 4 fillings she had a perfect system on numbing your mouth. First she did numbing gel and unlike the other place let it take effect. Then did another layer and session of the gel. Then she did an injection and did it slowly and gently. It kind of felt like a mosquito bite but was hard to notice from the numbing gel. DR JULIE then gave it a couple minutes to take effect and then did the novacaine finally. By this time I didn't even feel the needle going in and this was by far the largest and scariest looking one but I didn't even care then. Thank you MEDICAL ARTS DENTAL and thank you DR JULIE! If I need to stop at a dentist again I will no longer be afraid or let the concept leave a bad taste in my mouth ! :)

My experience with Medical Arts dental has been Amazing. I was one of those that was scared away from dentists and did not go, to be honest, it was 25 years I skipped. The staff at Medical arts NEVER made me feel ashamed of that fact. to be honest I had a larger amount of work done and It was not bad at all. When they see your in a bit of pain they STOP the procedure and figure out a different way, GREAT JOB to all. Ryan, Dr Julie, Star and I am sure there were more that I don't remember the names. KEEP UP the great work!!!

Where do I begin? My spouse and I have been going to Medical Arts for several years and we have found the Dr. Nyland and her staff to be exemplary in every way.
Yes...we are talking about going to the dentist office, however, the quality of the total experience is simply amazing. Every member of the staff we have engaged have been professional and personable. I use to have anxiety about going to the dentist....not anymore not at Medical Arts. Dr.Nyland's business manager, Ryan is a treasure. This man is a perfect example of customer service! Having some background in service/retail industries and facilitating customer service training, I find Ryan, the perfect example of "good customer service"!
Oh, lets not forget the services Dr. Nyland and staff provide...I would recommend to anyone seeking/needing a excellent dentist, no pain, and customer engagement you simple can't buy!

I highly recommend this dental office. The staff is very professional. I had a root canal done yesterday and they made it more enjoyable by making jokes while they fixed my tooth. They made sure I was comfortable and numb before they started. Good job.
