From their care, to their practice, this dental team is unique.
A couple years ago, I had a dentist reduce a space between two teeth. But immediately after he added material to one tooth near the gum-line, I felt an uncomfortable pinching irritation/sensation. After challenging him, he said there was nothing that he could see that was causing that irritation. I ended up moving shortly there after, and eventually I had two different dentists look into the pain/issue. Neither could see the material or the root cause of the pinching irritating sensation. And they both said that the material was not visible on the x-ray.
Dr. Kalpin took the time to understand the pain, looked into it, and also found that the material was not visible on the x-ray. However, the difference was that she created a plan to eliminate the pain for me. Last Friday she removed the material, contoured the material on the tooth near the gum-line, and added the material to reduce the space, so food would not get caught. And the pinching sensation was gone! And I'm happy to report too after her fix, food (especially meat) does not get caught in that space either.
I encourage you to meet with Dr. Kalpin and her team; young or old as they care. And Dr. Kalpin is really really good at her craft.
