Walking into a new dentist's office is one of the scariest things in my world; Emily immediately put me at ease and I was in a treatment room within a couple of minutes ( on time appointments) . Mary Ann was incredible doing all the x-rays and although it must have been obvious that I was terrified she talked to me telling me what she was doing every step of the way. Okay, my mouth was a mess. Too many years without dental insurance and a lifelong history of gum disease. Dr. Schuman was gentle and compassionate and totally non judgemental . He never criticised or made me feel humiliated . He made sure that I had plenty of anesthesia even stopping an extraction to give another shot when he realized that I was feeling it. Mary Ann was right there doing her suctioning thing and all the other support stuff so I never felt like I was choking or drowning. I cannot say it was an enjoyable experience but the professionals in this office made it an excellent experience. I have had three visits now and each and every time they have demonstrated the highest levels of skill and compassion. Plus, they gave me chapstick !

Dr. Schuman and his entire staff have been friendly, accommodating, and absolute professionals from the very beginning. Our association goes way back to the spring of 2013. Our first encounter entailed six implants, 4 upper and 2 lower. I got the 2 remaining lower implants in mid April, and last month, for the first time in 15 years, I could bite an apple and go to sleep without jars on the bathroom sink. My history includes periodontal disease and bone loss as high as 60% in many places. Needless to say, I wasn’t your everyday run of the mill case. I never lost confidence in Dr. Schuman, Emily, Kristen, or the rest of the team. I couldn’t have been in more capable, compassionate hands. If there’s ever a need for services like theirs, you’ll never be in a better place, with nicer people than Dr. Schuman and his expert crew.

There's simply no better dentist in St. Louis! Dr. Schuman is more than a dentist...he's an artist...and he utilizes the most up to date technology including a 3-D printer for perfect repairs an replacement teetth. And he does it right there in the office...no waiting two weeks for a crown to come back from the lab. Dr. Schuman does it in house! Incredible!

I went in for an emergency abscess...I trusted Dr. Schuman to pull the tooth I was having a problem with even though I was terrified..Lol!!! I must admit him and his staff reassured me and put my mind at ease;) He pulled my tooth...and trust me it wasn't an easy pull. I didn't feel any pain and he did a fantastic job with explaining the process. I was truly pleased with the level of care they all took to make sure I was ok..Dr. Schuman even called me to check to see if I was ok that same night..A+ service.. I am happy to say I found a new dentist;) If you are like me and fear the dentist he's the dentist for you.

This was the absolute BEST experience I have EVER had at a Dentist's office. They are on the ball and really make you feel at home. I use to HATE having to go to appointments! This office has changed that. You have to see for yourself! See Dr. Schuman and you will be on here writing too!
