The dentist was very talkative during my services! He made me feel very comfortable! There was no long wait at any time, but I did have a scheduled appointment. He was gentle when numbing my gums...The receptionist even recommended a dental credit card for my visit to pay for services...They are very respectful and I will continue to give them my services....

Best dentist I have ever had the pleasure of working on my dental needs. My wife use to have to be medicated before going to any dentist for any actual work on teeth. After meeting and have work done by Dr. Shanker I am happy to say its no longer necessary. Its only took one bad dentist when she was young to cause that fear. Thank god it only took Dr. Shanker to cure it. The whole family enjoys their visits and I have never had a complaint from anyone I have recommended to him. Fair price great attitude and never feel anything when have fillings done or extractions. A+

The only dentist I will see. He's talkative and reassuring during any work performed. He's aware he can cause pain, so he's constantly checking to make sure you're comfortable. The staff is amazing, friendly, and always super helpful. They are usually very accommodating, which sometimes will result in delays to other appointments/patients. A few years ago they were always super busy and constantly running behind, often needed to reschedule. They have corrected this and run on time (as much as any doctor's office anyway).
The doctor and staff are always straightforward and honest. I can see how some might think them rude, especially when they are under stress. I've never been offended and have always appreciated the honesty.

I have been with Dr. Shanker for a little over four years, and could not be happier. He is very skilled and has provided me top level care. His prices are fair and his practice is efficient. I have had several procedures and never felt any pain after the initial injection. I would never dream of seeing another dentist, I just wish I had started seeing him sooner A+

I am a new patient there and I'm very pleased with the way they took care of me from the moment I arrived. I would recommend him to anyone. I had the son and I liked how he was patient with me cause that tooth was hard to pull

If it was possible to give less, I would. This doctor was so mean and rude I didn't even let him work on me. After waiting over three months for this appointment, he had the nerve to tell me I was wasting his time. Yes, a doctor said that to a first time patient. He talked about me like I wasn't in the room, he tossed my paperwork around like it was a wilted old magazine, and he talked down to me like I wouldn't know how to tie my own shoelaces. This doctors behavior was so disrespectful and deplorable I took the bib off and told him there's no way he's going to touch me. He offered no solution to my dental needs and I just have no idea how this guy has a business.

I should have read these reviews before I scheduled appts.
Dr. was recommended. But like the other review my first appt. I went to took apox. a month of non returned phone calls to set and then was ~ 2 weeks out.
I went to first appt.and waiting room had about 10 ppl. waiting and 4 more arrived while I was waiting but was told he would see me anyway if I would wait. I did but when called on I was led to Dental room by a mid aged assistant (I suppose?) whom I asked if it would be ok to briefly use the restroom first. Her response (with a frown and a " I suppose") was given. About 5 minutes later the Dr. entered looked at my chart they had pulled from somewhere (this was my first visit so I don't know where they got it from) Doc looked at it and then my teeth remarking that I had skin grafting done in the past. ( Through the years I have spent (after insurance 20K+) for work on my teeth. The Dr. didn't have time to adjust the upper partial metal that was tearing into my gums but said he would do that next time and start the prep for implants.
So I reluctantly agreed to reset.
Best they could do was another 2 weeks out.
Second appt. was set for 3:00 pm. There was an accident at the intersection down the street so I didn`t arrive till 3:15 At that time ~ 3:30 this unpleasant, inhuman (aforementioned) ? Dental assistant comes out calls my name and tells me cause I was late she would have to reset (for the second time) the appointment. I pleaded with her for the Dr. to see me. Her response was (after I apologized for being late and the unforeseen accident up the street that I had come from Pacific, Mo. (which is ~ 45-50 miles away) was she "DIDN`T CARE" and that he was already working on somebody else.
I then sat down praying and trying to compose myself in the disbelieve at what I was just told. Apox. 10 minutes later, the office manager came to their appt. window and said they could see me Dec. 5 @ 1:00 would that work? I told her I didn`t know she walked away somewhere unseen. I got my coat and left called their office got the recording ( like always) and asked them to send the Dental records (they got from somewhere) to my home.
I`m sure this Dentist does good work but do to the inhuman treatment I received I won`t be going back.

Has made my wife very comfortable so far and she hates dentists and shes getting a crown he talks the way through letting you know whats going on and stops alot if needed very good

Poor service. Have to make apt weeks (almost months) in advance. Then I finally get an apt and it has to be rescheduled, then get to the rescheduled apt time to find out the Secretary gave me the wrong time and couldn't accommodate me -_- currently looking for another dentist

I love the dentist and their staff .especially ,mary she has always went out of her way to accommodate me.
