I've been a patient of Cochran Dental for over 30 years. Dr Garrett has stepped in and given me the same friendly, professional patient care that Dr Doug began many years ago. A shoutout for the entire staff as well and I honestly look forward to my visit to the dentist.

For starters my family has been going to Cochran dental for years and years. The past few years it has went down hill. Very pushy and wants to discuss my weight vs my teeth. A huge cavity was missed in my daughter’s teeth, only to have a piece of her tooth come out because of a cavity that was missed for over a year and a half. We go to the dentist regularly and very confused as how this was missed to where her tooth cracked and came out. The service is horrid and I always feel attacked when it’s time to pay a bill getting threatened to go to collections when in doubt they were sending my bills to the wrong address. They are not welcoming and would not suggest anyone to come to this business. We changes dentist and are beyond glad we did. Steer clear!

I went to see Dr. Cochran about 4 months ago, I had braces on at the time as well, to get a regular cleaning done. When the Hygienist was finished with my cleaning he came in and did his exam and all he did was complain about cleaning with my braces on and said they should charge more for that because it is such a hassle and how bad my teeth were and how much work I needed done. I already hate the Dentist and after that I practically left in tears because it was such a bad experience.
I informed them I would not be back a few days ago and they just don’t understand why. This is why.

I have grown up as a patient with the Cochran Dentistry for over 40 years, starting with Dr. Dan Cochran in the early 1970's. Upon Dr. Dan's retirement I became a patient of Dr. Doug and now am seeing Dr. Garrett as well. Both are very knowledgeable, they listen to me, help me to understand what is needed to keep my mouth in the best health as possible, and are AWESOME with kids as well. I have been taking my son to see Dr. Doug since he was 2 years old (now 16 yrs old) and they have the best Dr/patient relationship.

If there was an opportunity to give a no star review, I would. As children we went to Dr. Dan Cochran. He drilled my and my siblings teeth until there was no more to drill. Putting profit over patients. He has left me with a life-long trauma of dentistry that effects me still to this day. Now, as an adult, I and my siblings face and confront once again the ramifications of a long ago atrocious excuse for dentistry. Dealing with cracks, cowns, extractions, root canals, oral surgery, imalgum and cavity filling that took the entire tooth. Please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Do not give any more profit to this establishment. The mistakes where made long ago, yes, but long ago there was no way to give a review. And to this day we are still being effected by him. What dentists do today will affect you your whole life. At least get a second opinion.

Dr. Dan & Dr. Doug Cochran have had a great reputation in the Northland for decades, but the newest dentist in the family, Dr. Garret Cochran, is not one to be underestimated! My wife and I walked into his office with a unique scenario after being denied by dozens of other dentists in the state of Missouri, Kansas and Illinois. Her procedure included the removal of 15+ teeth that were deteriorating and breaking off on a daily basis, caused by a rare disease that not many doctors, let alone dentists, have heard of. Not only was Dr. Garret familiar with the disease, he was willing to work with our Tricare HEALTH insurance to give my wife a smile that she has NEVER experienced. It took my family 3 years for Tricare to finally approve the genetic testing, and it took Dr. Cochran less than a couple weeks to perform a surgery right in his office. 15+ teeth/roots were removed with such precision, many of which were breaking off within the jaw bone, and in no time at all, my wife is now able to smile with confidence. Thank you so much Dr. Cochran, my family will forever be grateful!

I have been going to this dentist for 39 years...now what that means is that I started with Dr. Dan Cochran, then his son Dr. Doug Cochran, and now I even see my original dentist's grandson Dr. Garrett Cochran. A few times over the past 20 years I have seen other dentists when I lived away...trust me there is a huge difference! Love this FAMILY OWNED AND RUN DENTIST OFFICE!

I thought that they would honor my insurance like Dr Carlson but they are not under the same umbrella. I called to split the difference which would have been three times my normal payment with doctor Carlson but I was told I was being unreasonable. So I’m not going to pay anything if I’m going to take a hit on my credit rating anyway. Good luck and let the burr beware. BTW they acted surprised that I showed up for my appointment. That’s a tell for bad service

I have been going to this practice since I was little. I have always had a top notch experience every time. They are family operated, very professional, and very knowledgeable. The son and the father are both excellent. I would highly recommend and I do!

Dr. Cochran has been our family dentist since 1987. We have complete trust in his expertise . All of the staff are friendly, and professional.
