Stites Dental Care

Horrible experience. Dentist is a jerk. Technician had 3 more visits planned before dentist even spoke to me. Dentist says you’re no customer, you’re my patient. You’re not in charge, I am. Then he proceeds to tell me we probably won’t ever get along. He was right about that. And I left, no service provided. Arrogant, doesn’t like questions. Felt like a total scam place.

I have very high anxiety when it comes to a dentist. I was referred from my friends and I was not disappointed. I really like Dr Stites and his helpers. It takes a team and that is what they have. I apologize I cannot think of her name of the lady that helped me the last two times but I really like her as well. The work is very good quality

Horrible care. Every 6 months our family would go in for check ups. Each time my husband I and would be told our teeth need thousands of dollars worth of work. We've now switched offices and for three years have been told our teeth look great see you in 6 months.

Going to Dr. Stites was a horrible experience. He belittled me because of my teeth and took it upon himself to do procedures without my knowledge. I had to stop him when I realized he wasn’t working on the tooth I was there for.

Dr. Stites is a great dentist! He's very friendly and comforting.
After the pandemic hit, I went to another dentist and they said I needed a deep cleaning, which is something I had dealt with previously at Stites, but the OTHER ones made it seem like a huge deal and that it was really bad. I was pretty upset and worried, but I decided to return to Stites because I was really happy with how they did my first deep cleaning.
Dr. Stites and the hygienist (or assistant) were so reassuring and calmed my nerves completely. I will forever be thankful for that.
And speaking of the hygienists, they are the most gentle and helpful I've ever had. They provide tips about how to brush better, the CORRECT way to floss effectively and I truly believe that my teeth and gums are in the best condition they've ever been in thanks to their help. I honestly don't know that I had ever been taught how to floss correctly before. (If I had I must not have been paying attention)

Just left this office after trying to obtain my dental X-rays and being lied to multiple times by Natalie at the front desk. She claims that they gave me my X-rays and referred me to an oral surgeon because of a problem with a tooth- I never received these. I received a flyer for an orthodontist and had no idea that I had a problem with my tooth until now. After I had the audacity to say, “Just because you have a referral scanned into your system doesn’t mean I received it,” Natalie slammed her hands down on the table, began screaming at me about having an attitude and coming into their unlocked office during their lunch hour. Turns out they LOST my records. LOL. You work in customer service Natalie, maybe try including some kindness or honesty into your interactions.

My family has been coming here for years. Everyone we've met has been extremely pleasant to be around, and they've all done what they could to make sure that we were cared for. Dr. Stites also tells me every time I go in that, if there's anything wrong, to wiggle my left hand. I have never been to a dentist before that puts in that kind of consideration to their patients.

I made an appointment and explained I was in pain and needed to be seen asap, I received an appointment for 2 days later and was told I could have my tooth extracted at that appointment because she scheduled extra time for me to have it done. Then I received a call from the same lady the next day at 4pm to be updated that it would not be an option at my appointment to have my tooth extracted, well by then I had cancelled 2 other appointments because I thought this office was more competent. Unfortunately the front desk staff had no idea what they were talking about and now I'm stuck with a bad tooth all weekend. Thanks for nothing and I hope you don't waste your time with this office. ZERO stars

I can't even begin to explain how happy I am that I was referred to them. This is by far the friendliest staff I have ever experienced in dental care. They actually care about people and that is very hard to come by now a days. I have been looking for great dental care and a friend referred them and that speaks volume. I am so happy she did and that I have a place I can go to for years to come.

I’ve been a patient here since 2014, and I’ve yet to have a bad experience with any of the staff. Dr. Stites is very nice and funny, which I’ve had some doctors and dentists in the past with horrible bedside manners so this was a relief for me to find here. I’ve had everything from normal cleanings to crowns and fillings, and everyone has always been very courteous to me and explained everything they were going to do before doing it. They’ve listened to my concerns and fixed any issues I might have found (i.e. I had an old filling falling out for the 3rd time, after asking about it before a cleaning Stites found the filling was too big and the tooth was breaking). And to the people complaining about them trying to get you to do other services, this isn’t unique to just here. Like a lot of doctor offices, they have business contracts with certain suppliers and are required to advertise those services. So, just sit there and listen and be nice and tell them you’re not interested. It’s really not that hard of a concept!
