Dr. Leann and her staff(Hi Jennifer, Amanda and Kyle) are beyond amazing. A very relaxed and easy going atmosphere will surely put you at ease. They've been my regular dentist for about 3 years now and seriously I almost look forward to going....almost š.
Like most, I despised going to the dentist! Sadly putting it off way too long, only to compound my dental issues. I finally made an appointment with Dr. Leann, initially and mainly because she was close to my home and was able to get me in on short notice at the end of the year. Little did I know that would not only be a blessing in disguise, but would forge a path to oral wellness and actually having a *regular* dentist. A dream I didn't know I had, come true! They really go above and beyond. She even came in on the day after Christmas, when she was supposed to be on vacation to squeeze us in and finish our procedures before the end of the year.
If any issues arise, she or her competent staff are quick to fix it and put your concerns at ease. Never do they make you feel bad about your situation and they're always willing to work with you to get the job done. I couldn't recommend them more highly...for many reasons. Multiple locations, friendly staff, great work, but the main reason is because I just don't feel as if I'm going to the dentist. In that I mean, I no longer have that dread and panic before an appointment. Sure I know there will be a bit of temporary pain, even if she's good at alleviating that. Sure I know it probably will cost more than I like, even if the prices are competitive....it's still the dentist after all. However the nervous worries are gone due to the incredible staff and unique atmosphere of Richmond Family Dentistry.
I'm quite sure they'll be my *regular dentist* from here on out.
So, if you're trying to decide where to go for your next dental appointment, give them a try. I have a feeling they'll become your regular dentist too.š¦·š¦·

I will give 2 stars for friendliness and making the atmosphere nice. They do have that in their favor. My major concern is though is financial. My husband and I have the same insurance, but he goes to a different dentist near his work. When he goes for a cleaning, he pays nothing, insurance covers the visit. Whenever I go to Richmond Family dentistry, I end up paying around $80 or so even though I just asked for a basic cleaning. They always seem to tack on expensive items that are not covered by insurance without my approval. A friend of mine who also goes here has also complained of this problem and had planned to find a different dentist.
I was also diagnosed with 6 cavities on my last visit. I have really great teeth (lucky genetics I guess) and pretty much never ever get cavities. I also take care of my teeth meticulously. I was suspicious of this diagnosis, but reluctantly agreed to have them filled. They filled five (very expensive š«) and scheduled me to fill the last one on a different date. I decided to cancel my appointment though and seek a second opinion. I went to a dentist in KC and had them check thoroughly and they found zero cavities! It makes me VERY suspicious about whether I actually had five other cavities.... were they just trying to get more money out of me again? This is a constant problem that I run into. Iām sticking with my new dentist!
I really really hate giving bad ratings. Iām very much a people person, but I felt my experience was important enough to warn others.

I love coming to this dentistry. The doctors are always asking me if I'm ok, and if I feel even a little bit of discomfort they take care of it.
