Today was our first visit. We had check-ups and cleanings done. They were prompt getting us in, provided very professional service & accept our insurance. My husband and I both had friendly, helpful and skilled dental hygienists. Their equipment is up to date which made completing needed x-rays a much more comfortable experience. They came highly recommended and I would now recommend them myself!

Had a dentist appointment got there a little before my appointment and they got me right in. The dental technician was professional, polite, and funny she checked on me several times making sure I was alright while waiting for the dentist to see me. They worked with me on setting up my next couple of appointments to fit my schedule. We discussed what needs to be done and didn’t try to push anything on me. Letting me know cost up front and what insurance would cover so nothing unexpected comes up. Everyone I interacted with was friendly

My husband is having severe dental pain and he desperately needs to see an oral surgeon; I didn't know where to begin. Hometown Dental was the only office in Sedalia who answered their phone this morning and the receptionist was SO amazingly helpful! She gave me some numbers to oral surgeons in an area we could arrange travel to, and one of the offices is getting my husband in tomorrow morning! I really would have been list without her help! I am so thankful! If the rest of the staff is as good as the woman I talked to today on the phone, you're in good hands!

Had my appt today with Dr Lancaster, he had to pull two of my bottom back teeth and he was very gentle and communicated with me on what he was doing. I just love all the staff here!
I’ve been back a few more times since my original review and every appt has been continued awesome care from everyone. My health ins started covering implants this yr and I just started the process last week. It was a great experience.

I visit for an exam and cleaning as covered by insurance. Delta Dental PPO.
I'm told I need a deep cleaning at $350+ with lasers. Ok, was only planning on a regular cleaning and no additional pain today... Lasers?? Hmmm
Well, let's please do what's covered by insurance and I can schedule that for later date. They refuse regular cleaning saying "it won't do you any good anyway".
The Dr. Then says insurance wouldn't cover regular cleaning if you need more. Further his office would send me a bill for $800 when it's declined by insurance because I didn't do what was recommended. Then says "it's been two years since you've had your teeth cleened, you've missed 5 cleanings and you want us to catch you up for no charge?? No, it doesn't work that way".
They refuse exam and cleaning as covered by insurance, instead bait and switch unless you pay the extra money.
Delta Dental stated of course they would pay for the annual exam and cleaning regardless if I opted for additional services.
Insurance company is submitting grievance on my behalf.
