I'm honestly surprised Dr. Gershilevich is still around. My experience was so bizarre I considered reporting him.
I scheduled my appointment for a cleaning. He did x-rays and I told him about my loose front tooth. He sat there with his giant hands in my mouth wiggling my tooth and saying, "hmmmm the root is good I don't know why this is" and I had to make a second appointment for my cleaning.

I showed up for my second appointment and we were constantly being interrupted so he could take phone calls from different pharmacists confirming the prescriptions he wrote. After he finally finished my top teeth he told me I needed a third appointment for the bottom. "This is normal" he said and handed me a prescription for percocet.

I never went back and never got the script filled. My new dentist took a look at my teeth and couldn't tell that the top had been cleaned and he diagnosed my loose tooth as being early gum disease.

I don't believe this man is a dentist at all. Stay away.

Dr Gary is AWESOME. Put my mind at rest about several issues, saving me a bunch of money as well. He is honest and funny. Cleaning was easy with new technology and no scraping! I used a Groupon but already know I will be back and his prices are the best I have found without insurance. The women who help run the office were lovely as well. See you in six months!

Dr. Gary has taken care of my family for about 7 years now. We love coming in for a visit. He is very gentle and will always look to be cost efficient. Will work with you if payment arrangements are needed. He is out of network for us but I wouldn't think of going anywhere else because of how well he has treated us all these years

Over the phone staff was off putting but in person they are friendly. Dr. G is a very nice and friendly dentist. I was able to use my Groupon without an issue and he didn’t try to sell me other services but gave an honest and professional recommendation on my dental needs. The appointment was quick and my teeth felt squeaky clean. It’s a steal with this Groupon price!

We had a great experience with Dr. Gary!
Needed a second opinion and he got us in the same day, took x-rays and advised against the expensive work another dentist wanted us to do.
Very happy with him and his staff.

ABSOLUTE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!
He is a complete fraud & his staff (secretary) are nasty & vile. The place is filthy & I n violation of health codes. I generally have my teeth cleaned 4 times a year & pay out of pocket. Never have I met such an incapable & corrupt dentist. My teeth were assaulted in just under 5 minutes. He is truly sadistic. I’m VERY surprised to see he is still practicing & doing business, so many years later. Disgusting.

In and out! Thorough and fast. Staff delightful. Due to anxiety and poor self -care, I hadn't been to a dentist in probably 10 years.
Don't listen to naysayers. He checked in to make sure he wasn't hurting (I have very sensative teeth) and chattered on pleasantly. Me being slightly introverted, he was a dream to go see. Looking forward to my next visit!

The office keep cancelling my appointment because they overbooked themselves. There were no apologies from them when they messed up my schedule 2 times in a row, without early notice until the day I have to come in. No reason for the first time, but the second time because they weren’t working the day before so they book someone in my appointment? I have to wait 1 month for every time I call in for rescheduling. This is pretty horrible in my opinion and based on everyone else, I wouldn’t try them out.

This office offered a Groupon for cleaning, xray and exam. I am on Social security but they refused to provide the services eventhough they had already been paid for. I told them I was very uncomfortable giving my social security number. Consumer Reports says not to for any health care as identity theft usually occurs where the company using your info is not secure. A call to Social Security customer care says they cannot obligate me to provide my social security number. The office told me that their "system" requires it - Consumer Reports claims the SSN is used mostly for collection purposes. I objected and was told in the reception area I would have to leave. Not happy when a service like this is NOT sensitive to identity theft issues - I wonder if the dental care is also not flexible. ...also tiresome when they have a dismissive receptionist who boasted "I have a Masters in HR". Perhaps some training in customer care would be beneficial.

Called 3 times during business hours to make appt and got no answer. Finally got through to the dentist today when they're closed for business due to the weather! He informed me that they require patients to give their social security number as an ID number. I asked if we could use an alternate ID number like my DL number or any 9 digit number, as it shouldn't make a difference to them where the number originates. He said it has to be SSN. DO NOT USE YOUR SSN AS AN ID NUMBER. It is totally insecure and that's how ID theft occurs.
