In January of 2015 Dr Karen Harris brought to my attention that I should be checked for a sleeping disorder and consider getting a CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) machine. When I did the sleep test the doctor informed me I stopped breathing around 64 times per hour. After all the sleep testing I have had the CPAP machine for 2 weeks and am on my way back to excellent health. ALL thanks to Dr Karen Harris for binging this to my attention, which was CRUCIAL in me avoiding some SERIOUS CONSEQUENCES and taking GREAT care of my teeth and overall health!

First, I was extremely shocked that 2 dogs are at the office and freely roam around the entire office including where patients are getting work done. While I was in the chair a dog jumped right up in the chair and everyone acted like it was a normal thing. THAT IS EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISGUSTING!!!!

If I wanted to go to a zoo I'd go to the STL Zoo. At least that's free.

Secondly, Karen kept me waiting while she was having a casual conversation causing my treatment/assessment to not be fully completed. Also, I've never had a dentist tell me that they must do an 1hr 30min "assessment" then come up with a treatment plan.

Third, the office does not seem to pride itself on cleanliness. They put gloves on but then they touch any and everything around them. So it makes me wonder when they clean things like the keyboards and other equipment. One thing in particular I noticed that after putting her hands in my mouth she continuously adjusted her glasses. Maybe that's not a big thing to someone else but all I thought about was when did she clean her glasses when she moves from patient to patient. I dont know about you but I dont want someone else mouth juices is my mouth.

Fourth, I thought i was in Karen's home. I'm all about being comfortable at work but there is a line. You are a doctor in a professional environment. ACT LIKE IT AND DRESS LIKE IT. She looked like she just got out of bed. She was in long johns, a bed time shirt and house shoes while the rest of the staff had at least pants or scrubs on. Also, she seemed very pushy in me getting dental implants and even suggested I get a nose job. When I said I dont want implants she proceeded to tell me that people could look at me strange and judge me on a tooth gap and it might affect career opportunities in the future. I didnt come to a general practitioner I came to a dentist. So I dont know if she might a get a referral/finders fee but that was a first for me.

And lastly, the place just seems unclean all around. Blinds are all broken and twisted, old water stains in the ceiling, a noticeable amount of bugs in the lights, and the chairs look like they havent been replaced in 15 yrs. You would think that when 100% of your patients look at the ceiling you can atleast have it looking presentable.

Would not recommend.

Excellent care. She’s very professional and polite and personable. Everything you want in a health care provider. The dental work has been spectacular and she’s really improved how I feel on a daily basis.

Very pleasant office staff. Tammy was very good in examining and explaining. Dr. Harris was nice and calming. I just wish you were part of my insurance network.

Awesome Staff, had a appt with Dr McCoy he was very informative and explained in-depth a plan of action and the dental assistant Kimberly was great with addressing all of my concerns.

Dr. Harris is absolutely wonderful - she has amazing bedside manner, is thorough, caring and informative. I never thought I would ever say this about the dentist... but I can’t wait to go back!

Told after being there for 2 hours that my insurance actually didn't apply after confirming during original appointment planning. Also never had an appointment confirmation, I had to call after a few weeks.

Otherwise staff was great.

Great dentist, I've been to many different ones seeing as I move a lot and coming here has spoiled me, their staff is very friendly but most importantly their technique and level of thorough work is what amazed me. They use Carries Finder & Diagnodent to ensure the entire decay is eliminated, its a special die that highlights decay, it takes more time but keeps the same tooth from continuing to decay after the filling is applied because there is no bacteria left. Every other dentist I've been to has just eyeballed it. These guys use the latest technology and techniques to keep your mouth healthy. Highly reccomend!!!

From A-Z, I give them, O/E. O for OUTSTANDING...E for EXCELLENT! This was the most thorough annual examination I've had in 56 years of visiting a dentist.
