Needed a tooth extraction bad. I'm inbetween insurance because I just started a new job, but they took me no questions and even fit me in to their schedule in less that a week, got me antibiotics, and took maybe 10 minutes to pop the tooth out. I was a bit worried about the pain since it seems like all dentists load you up on pain killers but they didn't and honestly the work was so good I only needed ibuprofen twice. Day 3 and it's healing nicely, almost zero pain. Awesome ladies there!

A simple procedure today putting on two crowns. But they were ready when I arrived at 0800 and got it done quickly. Always friendly.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kroger's for 20 or more years now. The check in process is extremely efficient and Cindy, the woman at the front desk, does an excellent job. I have been extremely satisfied with all of my experiences at Cherry Hill Dentistry.

Got right in; never have to wait. The dentist and staff are very friendly! I would recommend them to people who are hesitant to go to the dentist as they are very gentle!

I am always very comfortable and feel relaxed during my appointments, which is rare because normally you don't feel relaxed in a dentist office. Let's face it a cleaning or dental work isn't exactly the most comfortable thing in the world, but the staff is competent and I feel like I'm in very good hands.

I have been going to this dentists' office my entire life (almost 40 years). The staff is always friendly and very professional. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else.

I read all the wonderful reviews for Dr. Powell and could have agreed after our first visit, however, the second visit was traumatic for one of my college age children. She was experiencing pain from the injections and was ignored when asked to have a little more numbing medication so the shots would not hurt so severely. The pain was intense and my daughter was waving her hand to them to stop and they kept going because she was crying and wouldn't say anything to them. It's hard to answer when there is dental tools and something in your mouth preventing you from closing your mouth and answering. They became frustrated at her and said that she needed to go to a child doctor. Very insensitive, in my opinion. They asked her if she wanted headphones on while she was still crying and once they were on they were seen making jokes and laughing. It was perceived that they were mocking her since she couldn't hear them. If someone is in pain and crying - it is unprofessonial to be making jokes and laughing while the patient is having a really hard time. Still traumatized by the initial pain and feeling of being trapped with instruments in her mouth and being ignored by hand gestures and crying to stop the procedure was continued with little regard it seems for what the patient in the chair was experiencing.

There is a business card on the counter when you are in the office that seems to be a marketing company they hired to spread the word and write positive reviews about their office. I didn't think much about it until our second visit.

I do agree that the front staff was very friendly and nice. The assistants were very friendly and nice. Our experience, however, once the patient is behind closed doors can be a good experience or a traumatic one.

Our family experienced an initial good experience but when we returned two days later for another appointment the forementioned experience occurred.

Hope this doesn't happen to your family. Buyer beware. Perhaps insist to be in the room with your family member as to intervene if things go as they did for our family. We trusted that our family member would be treated and handled with sensitivity and not be told in the middle of the procedure that maybe she needed to go see a child dentist since she was emotional from the initial procedure of numbing and pain of the injections - a small amount of numbing the gums with the gel was not enough. She just wanted a little more since the shot must have hit a nerve to hurt as badly as it did and cause tears from the pain. Her attempts to communicate were ignored and Dr. Powell kept going and kept giving more pain injections since she thought my daughter was in pain. Maybe being less rushed would have helped and not booking such a tight schedule as to get to the next patient (reason given why I would not be able to talk to the dentist or didn't get a call back) is the reason the decision was made to bulldoz through the procedure instead of pause and wait for the patient to recover from being overwhelmed rather than saying, "I can't work like this."

If you choose this dentist office hope you have the experience we had on our first brief visit and hopefully do not catch them on a day when their sensitivity to you and patience has run thin and you end up with an experience like we did on our second visit two days later.

That evening our daughter ended up bleeding in her mouth from the sharpness of one of the fillings. We are now left with going to another dentist to smooth out the sharp filling.
