My Kid's Dentist & Orthodontics

Really enjoyed this dentist, the staff and the facility... my son had been visiting the facility since he was born on recommendation of my beloved dentist. This last two weeks haven’t been the same. I was called Thursday before my Monday appointment to be informed that my appointment was cancelled. Yes, this appointment had been booked months in advance and all I was being offered was over a month and a half out. No one apologized or said anything about the inconvenience, although I requested time off from my job and it wasn’t my fault. I informed the representative that I would need to call back because I had to figure out when I could take time off again. I called back that Friday and still hadn’t received a call by the following Wednesday. When I decided to call back, the gentleman that answered advised me the person I needed to speak with had left for the day. After expressing the story, along with my frustration, he still didn’t say anything and tried to explain about how everything was booked and after school appointments would be pushed out. I understood that but wouldn’t the people who had already had this booked well out get some kind of priority? Yet, he found a cancelled date that still wasn’t opportune and disregarded the call. Very disappointing for some place that you highly regarded especially it being their error.

I have had no good experiences here over the last several years despite me trying and trying to give extra chances. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Terrible experiences with the dentist office and the orthodontist office:
Pediatric Dentist- The dentist actually told us that my daughter had lost all her baby teeth. I confronted her about the baby tooth that hadn't fallen out despite the permanent tooth already coming in. She took a second look in my daughter's mouth and at her x-rays and stood her ground. She sent us to ortho. Ortho sent us back due to the baby tooth needing removed. She then removed it. That was a terrible experience as they gave her gas, then did a numbing shot and immediately pulled the tooth without giving the shot time to set in. They wouldn't let me come in due to Covid but I was right outside the door so I could see and hear. My daughter screamed and said "Oww you're hurting me". By the time they heard me, it was over and too late.
Adult dental- They told me I needed several fillings. I let them do them. Dang near drowned several times as the assistant sprayed so much water and poorly suctioned it. 2 years later and I still have pain in those teeth.
Pediatric orthodontist- Very difficult to get appointments that work with our schedule. Poor communication. I wanted to leave mid treatment and find a better orthodontic office but they said I wouldn't be able to (in short) because of the contract etc. They made it very complicated to release me so that another orthodontist would take over. Last month, we came in to find Dr. Jolly was no longer the provider. No one said a word. At this appointment, the new orthodontist said this was her last adjustment and we would remove at this month's appointment. This month, he says we can't remove due to her gums being overgrown which would cause issues with the retainer. I've been complaining about the gum overgrowth since month one of her braces and they kept telling me it was due to her poor brushing. This new Dr. says, no that is not the issue and her gums need to be gut down. He claims he mentioned this last month, but he didn't. We have to see perio first. Then the assist tells me that removal is actually two appointments 5 weeks apart. That was never mentioned either. Go up front to schedule for perio and find out they aren't available for another month and a half. This means that their failure to inform me of the needed steps in a timely manner will have my daughter in her braces for an extra 3.5 months (1.5 months to wait on per, 1 month to heal after perio, 1 month after perio healing to wait on retainer being made), which means an extra several hundred dollars per month they get to make off of me. In the mean time, they also wanted her to keep coming in to see Dr. despite them not doing anymore adjustments.

Great jobs handling my 3 kids at once!!

They always Do a good job when they work and good dentist

I called and made a reservation for my two sons at 2:30 and 3:00 because one had to be picked up from school at 2:25 and was going to be a bit after 2:30. I received e-mail confirmation to this effect. When my second son showed up at 2:45 they said they could not see him because they were busy and he should have showed up at 2:30 with his brother. My confirmation e-mails showing a 3:00 appointment were not even considered because "that's just the way their system does it and a family should show up at the same time." Do business with this place at your own risk. Even their own written agreements and notices apparently hold no weight.
