Absolute Dental - South Virginia

My wife and I love Dr. Pham, caring and honest, BUT the staff at this office is horrible. They have trouble getting the insurance correctly billed and they refused my wife's services when they changed her appointment time and she was 10 minutes late, but 20 minutes before the original time! Also, my previous experience with another dentist at a Carson City office bordered on malpractice when she extracted two teeth that did not need to be removed. Clearly, we are done with this organization and will seek dental care elsewhere.

The staff at The Absolute Dental on S. Virginia St. are so helpful and accommodating. Dr. Pham is great and always helps me to understand the process of treatment. Also, Teresa was very helpful and amiable— she helped to ensure I had a smooth visit, with no worries. Thank you staff!

I always have a million questions, but the dentist is always so patient and thorough! He has a realistic perspective and isn’t trying to sell you on any unnecessary procedures. The hygienists are awesome as well!

This place is so understaffed, overbooked, and disorganized it's ridiculous. I went to the 4th street office for x-rays then tried to book a cleaning but they made me go all the way to Spanish Springs for that because they don't have a hygienist on staff. Then I had to go to this South Virginia office to get a consultation for braces because apparently it's the only office with an orthodontist.

I checked in 10 mins early for my appt, they confirmed my name and time and asked me to take a seat. 30 minutes later they hadn't called me in so I checked at the front desk. The gal who helped me previously was gone so I talked to someone else and she told me I shouldn't have checked in with the other gal because she only checks in "regular appointments" and not braces. Okay... how was I supposed to know that?

This new person checked me in again, I waited another 10 mins, and by this point I am 30 mins past my original appointment time, I so asked if they had an estimate of when I would be seen. She said the doctor was ready but all the exam rooms were full and they couldn't estimate when one would be available. In the middle of a weekday I can't really just wait around when I should be heading back to work soon, so I told them I was going to have to cancel my appointment. They offered to re-book me but I've seen enough red flags and decided not to.

I was willing to spend thousands with this company and now I will not be returning because if I am getting braces I can't afford to waste time driving to different offices around town for adjustments and follow up appointments + sitting around in a waiting room for 40+ minutes... it's just not realistic for people with full time jobs and other commitments.

Dr. Pham, his staff, and the dental office itself are simply the highest caliber of professional, prompt service I've ever experienced.

After needing a new dentist when a crown unexpectedly popped off following the closure of my previous dentist, I was lucky enough to establish a relationship with Absolute Dental.

My first appointment was both efficient and pleasant; Dr. Pham has a reassuring manner and describes the procedures step-by-step, and his staff are likewise friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable.

Re-cementing the cap took less than five minutes, and the price was the most affordable I'd been quoted.

I've already scheduled my next appointment, and look forward to the superior dental hygiene that will be the necessary product of this first-rate dentist/client relationship.

Extremely unprofessional! Didn’t greet me, moved my appointment to a different location without telling me, and canceled my appointment without telling me. The front desk nurse also gave me a terrible attitude because I was upset.

Words cannot explain how thankful I am for the people at this office. I called them for my fiance who had multiple multiple infected and broken teeth. They were able to get around quickly and give her antibiotics to help kill the infection but also miss Jana, Was a big help. Very informative and communication was very good between us. She went above and beyond and help get my fiance an appointment the next day to get her teeth removed. Is original appointment with set out to December. I am very happy and pleased with This office and staff. I would highly recommend them to my family and friends. Actually we dread going to the dentist or having to do anything with the dentist because of how long it takes but this time it went nice and smooth thank you miss Jana.

One of the worst customer service!!!
we are their customers from last couple of years. Their staff is very rude, first of all they do not attend you and just tell you to wait, not even ask you what are you here for.... My wife is using braces and visited them to adjust them on Oct 20th, staff recommend that go back home and just use clipper as they very busy. Now we are looking for other place for the treatment. We have logged the complaint to their head office ( las Vegas) but no action so far.
Now we will log the complaint to Nevada State Board of Dental Examiners. I hope they will take some action.

Wonderful staff. Kind, helpful, great with kids. Manager helped with an insurance snafu and all the staff went above and beyond. Highly recommend them.

Jana at this office is hands down the best at delivering caring, reliable and helpful “customer service”! She went above and beyond in my eyes to help me with my dental emergency/insurance problems. So very nice and such a pleasure. Another reason I prefer to only go to this office!! Thank you Jana!!
