The women I worked with before seeing Dr. Aland were fantastic! Katie and Sarah were friendly and warm. I felt like I had a cup of coffee with good friends when I left and but I had my teeth cleaned. That doesn’t happen most places. Highly recommend for high quality dental service with excellent people.

No more then 5 min wait for your scheduled appointment. In times of Covid-19 and Before. I don't know about you but I appreciate a dentistry that respect my time and doesn't over book.
Just wish I skipped those Factory like children dentistries and brought my kids to Aland Family Dentistry from the beginning. They love coming here the stuff is patient and very kids friendly.

Dr. Aland is charging me for work he didn't do. No joke, I never even met the guy. See I had work done by Dr. Davis of It's My Smile almost 2 years ago. Dr. Davis left the state over a year ago and I've since found a new dentist. Dr. Aland acquired Dr. Davis business and is billing me for the work, again, this is almost 2 years later.
I called my insurance, as I had two insurances at the time and have always paid my bills. My insurance informed me that Dr. Aland's office did not send them the insurance claims for over a year and so they denied them. Dr. Aland then waits another 6 months to send me the bill, demanding I pay it or it go to collections. I don't know what level of integrity Dr. Aland has, but it's just low enough to bill someone he never met for work he didn't do almost 2 years ago. Seems like he's making it my responsibility to balance the books on his business accusation.
I called the Norther Nevada Dental Association. While they agreed this doesn't sound right they could not help me because they are volunteer run and my bill is not high enough to justify their time. They weren't sure why an amount under $100 wasn't written off, given the situation. They just suggested I do not use Dr. Aland as a dentist.

Never have I had such an all around great experience. The first time I called I spoke with a very kind and knowledgeable front desk gal who listened to what I needed and answered my questions. The actual appointment was smooth and easy, I had 3 boys in tow all under 6, Jess and Jill were very sweet and patient with my boys. They made sure they were comfortable during their whole cleaning. Dr. Aland is very kind, I needed to be referred to an oral surgeon for my youngest and because we live out of town , Dr Aland offered to have his staff call and get me in the same day. Honestly I would offer more stars. The staff is great and the office is clean. So happy we we're referred by a friend to them. Highly recommend!

10-14-21 ****Added Information: Again I was back in the dental chair! After an emergency dental problem that I was referred to the oral surgeon & endodontist. With that completed I was back at Dr. Aland's office to complete the remaining work. Assuming & anticipating, that I was going to have to have a crown/cap put on, I was holding my breath a little for the price. After Dr. Aland inspected everything thoroughly & decided the area that had been worked on only needed a small composite filling to repair the area & complete the procedure! Dr. Aland's thorough & honest approach likely saved me at least $800 to $1000! I cannot thank him enough for the great dental care he gives/does & this includes his decisions to do what's the necessary & correct treatment for the patient's problem & not his bank account! This is an honest man & a really great dentist! If I could give him & his dental practice more than 5 Stars I would! **** I have been going to Aland Family Dentistry for about 4.5 years. Dr. Aland is a fabulous dentist! He is caring, helpful & very skilled. When I needed an immediate referral, his staff had the referral & tentative appointment for me with the maxiofacial surgeon, (who was also outstanding!), before I was ready to leave the office!
Dr. Aland sees/treats patients of all ages. (I started going to him when my dentist of 30 years retired. And my adult daughter, son-in-law & my grandsons were already patients of Dr. Aland & he was recommended highly by my daughter. (BTW-My daughter & her family come up from the Bishop/Big Pine, Ca. area to come to Dr. Aland. His staff goes out of their way to accommodate 4 appointments back to back for them. That's a big help, to not have to make multiple appointments!)
Dr. Aland has been seeing my grandsons for checkups & cleanings since they were
18 months old. They are now 7 years old & have no dentistry fears at all/& never any cavities!)
And my parents, who are in their mid- 80's had the same dentist that I previously had, & they have been going to Dr. Aland for the past 3+ years too. So, Dr. Aland is actively seeing, & treating 3 generations of our family!
So, you see, age is a non-issue for any cleanings, treatment & care from Dr. Aland's dental practice.
Please keep him & his dental practice in mind when looking for a dentist.

I have been going to Aland Family Dentistry for over 5 years and have had a great visit everyone. The staff is polite, caring, very thorough and they know what they’re doing. Dr. Aland also is amazing and is patient and always ensures his work is perfect! I can’t imagine going anywhere else.

Dr. Aland was very knowledgeable and informative with the exam. The cleaning was thorough but one of the most comfortable I have ever had. Definitely strongly recommend this office.
