I just moved to Reno and needed a dentist. I found Dr. Kwong's office in the neighborhood and just stepped in to ask a few questions. Within moments, the super friendly and professional office staff had made an appointment that fit my scheduled, helped me get my records transferred from my prior dentist and checked my insurance. At my visit, Dr. Kwong listened carefully to my concerns. He focused on what I needed and treated me with respect. That is all that most patients want from their medical professionals and Dr. Kwong is one of me most empathetic I have met. I have scheduled follow-up work and feel so fortunate to have the perfect dentist right in my neighborhood.

Dr. Kwong took me for a next-day appointment due to an infected and erupted molar (less than 24 hours notice and I was not an existing patient). He was extremely efficient, diagnosed the problem immediately, and took a lot of care to explain the severity and best course of treatment. The explanation of costs of treatment was clear and concise. It included all potential costs for all potential treatments, fully itemized, with breakdowns between what was to be billed out-of-pocket and what would be covered by insurance. I have never had dental injections that were not at least somewhat painful until the numbing medication set in. Dr. Kwong's did not hurt in the slightest!! I could not even feel it. He said he has a special technique. I can imagine it works well for botox too! They were able to do the tooth extraction and bone graft to my jaw the same day without a huge wait. He took a lot of care to ensure my sinus cavities were okay, which I really appreciated. Dr. Kwong was extremely compassionate and gentle, checking in with me frequently to make sure I was in no discomfort or distress. As an added bonus, he gives you his personal cell phone number to text in the post-op instructions in case you run into any issues. (I didn't, but it was a great personal touch) It was all a great experience considering the work I had to get done and what brought me there. I will definitely be coming back for my routine care.

I recently needed a crown work and filing on a couple of teeth and was a little anxious. Dr. Kwong did a great job and he's a master with the needle...didn't feel it at all. I actually fell asleep a couple of times in the chair. The staff was friendly and made me feel welcome. I would highly recommend Kwong Dental Care!

Dr. Kwong is the best dentist I have visited. He is an amazing professional who cares about his patients. The office is neat and clean, and the staff are professional and friendly.

Having not been to a dentist in a long time, My anxiety and fear was over the top. But as i entered the office the soothing music and the decor made me feel calm and relaxed. The staff and Dr Kwong made me feel at ease explained everything that was going to be done and vdfy friendly. Truth be told my extractions and bone graft i didnt feel any pain or discomfort at all. I've been going to Kwong Dental Care for over 3 years and the staff is always helpful and friendly. I know some people have a fear of going to the dentist and Dr. Kwong makes sure you're comfortable while you're under his care. I highly recommend this office for all your dental needs.

I needed a dentist quick and Dr. Kwong took me on as a new patient for some emergency work. He did a stand up job and I quickly took to being a patient. He is very friendly and honest and he took care of a cracked crown quickly. I began getting my teeth cleanings here as well and the whole staff is really kind. They have worked well with my insurance and have been very accommodating with scheduling. I’m very happy to be a patient.

I'm a huge fan. I have Sjögren's syndrome so I can barely produce saliva on my own. I just had two back molars removed and will prepare for implants. Dr. has excellent skills. Sure it hurt yesterday but today I'm fine. I've been going to him for several years. Great receptionist, billing is knowledge and they work with you.
Amber is awesome. She made the billing so easy even working with my insurance.
