I found out that I had severe periodontal disease. Now every tooth in my mouth is secured by a dental implant. The doctors also determined that my bite was not in the correct position. I went through a series of TENS treatments that relaxed my jaw muscles, and this helped to reposition my bite. I was able to choose the shape and color of my new teeth.
