My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Armijo since moving to New Mexico in 2009. He was highly recommended to us by a very satisfied long time patient. We have been to several dentists with a wide range of acceptability. But coming to Dr Armijo is an entirely new experience. He really is a "painless dentist". He uses new technology and is constantly upgrading himself and his equipment. He is caring person and makes the patient as comfortable as possible. As he exhibits such superior traits his staff emulate him. The dental hygienists (I go to David, my wife to Danielle) are simply superb. Choosing Dr, Armijo was a wise choice. We couldn't be more pleased.

Dr Armijo and staff are all very friendly. They are constantly concerned with your comfort during any procedure. They are very knowledgable about their field but more importantly they are good at explaining procedures, preventive care techniques, and potential risks in ways that are easy to understand. In this same area they do not judge any decay or poor quality of teeth. They also use encouragement rather than guilt to persuade you to improve your care on your teeth while acknowledging you may have other things in your life to worry over. Most of all you're treated like an adult (assuming you are one) and not a child. I find some dentist like to nag at you about your oral care. The facilities seem very well stocked or are at least better equipped than other offices I've visited (though I must admit I haven't "shopped" much here in ABQ).
Four stars because I don't really believe in perfection but also because I take a 5 star rating seriously. They sound like something a family member wrote.

Had to get a tooth crowned. Was dreading it however Dr. Armijo and his assistant Cheyenne made the experience easy and painless...and quick! Everything was completed while I waited thanks to Dr. Armijo’s investment in the latest CEREC dental crown technology. Perfect fit and no temporary crown- thanks Northtowne Dental!

As a patient for over 15 years, I highly recommend Dr. Armijo. He is hands down the best dentist in ABQ.
On multiple occasions, insurance changes forced me to find another dentist and I regret ever seeing other dentists. I always come back to him, regardless of cost. When I need a solid professional to diagnose my needs, utilize the latest technology and provide solutions that last years and years, he is the expert I use. He has helped me fix misdiagnosis and botched work from purported "experts and "specialists" in ABQ multiple times. His work lasts as much as 4x longer than than other dentists because of his experience, his perfectionist approach and the time he takes with his craft.
I highly recommend Dr. Armijo.
