My family loved Desert Hills Dental until we received a bill for almost $700 due to a mistake the office staff made. I was informed they accepted our insurance, but was sadly misinformed. The day of our appointment they told me your old insurance was still active so they would submit the bill to them first and then the other insurance would cover anything left. Even after I questioned this, they reassured me it wouldn’t be a problem since it was still in their system as active. Our appointment was in February, but come July I receive a bill for the cleaning. When I called the office I was told they didn’t take my insurance and the old insurance denied it. I’m responsible for the bill since they cleaned my teeth. They did apologize but said they couldn’t do anything else about it but said they gave me a 10% discount off the cleaning for the trouble. So their mistake is now my financial burden. Check, double check, even triple check your insurance before this happens to you.

Front staff has always been friendly. Hygienists do a great job. I’ve only been worked on by Dr. Burgess and Dr. Hilton, and they both were exceptional. I am very pleased with Desert Hills Dental Care and would recommend them to anyone!

So I had Dr. Collins, who I have not seen before. He was awesome. I am not a fan of dental work, as most people but he was very calming, explained what needed done and made sure I was happy with the results. THEN he called me, that evening to check on me. I had no issues, just a lot of work done, so, to have him call was an unexpected surprise. Above and beyond.

This is a good place to go, easy instructions on getting in and the staff was very helpful. Brian did a great job cleaning my teeth and giving me some guidance on care. Dr. Hilton's exam was quick and thorough. He went over my x-rays and talked me through them. Thanks for the great experience!
