I went in with no prior knowledge of implants. 1) The 2 women at reception were very informal, not professional appearance. The first assistant, 1 of the 2, was nice but didn’t have information to offer. Once the dentist, Dr. Reiter, came to my chair I gave him my current dental status. 2) He basically stood there and looked at me. Then ran off to look at my x-Ray, I believe is what he said. 3) Why wasn’t there a screen nearby where he could show me what he saw that was key to my needs? I expected to receive data, information on the procedures, the product used, and anything else I needed to know. 4) I can’t ask questions about a procedure I know nothing about. Yes, getting answers from him and his 5) Asian assistant who did not speak English very well, was like pulling teeth! I know I want implants but I want to make an informed decision. I grabbed a pamphlet on my way out. Cancelled the next appointment so I could think about it further & research on my own. 6) I didn’t like the office set up at all. There appeared to be new, high quality equipment but just no walls, nothing but work counters that partially went about 2/3 of the way up to the ceiling. Every procedure and person is exposed. If I’m paying that kind of money I need privacy and competence. The whole situation made me question using this office for implants.

My husband knew he needed dental work done, but we needed to switch dentists to be in-network. We switched to Dr. Reiter and his office staff was able to get my husband in quickly. They even asked him to remind me to make the appointment for my routine check-up. We had some problems with the insurance, but they worked with us until the insurance was straightened out. (It was an insurance company problem.) I have needed some work done and have been very pleased with Dr. Reiter and all of his staff. They are very friendly and accommodating with our schedules. I will continue to use Dr. Reiter and recommend him to all.

I heard about the mini implants offered by Advanced Dental of Las Cruses from commercials seen at a family members house in El Paso; so while I was visiting, I contacted the office & was seen by Dr. Reiter for a consultation. Unfortunately, I'm not a candidate for the mini implant, so I cannot offer much more of a review. I will say that Cecilia was the one who set up my appointment & she was very pleasant and professional.

The visit was very relaxing. You are greeted by smiling faces which puts you in a good place. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the physician's are very nice and respectful. The facilities are very clean and just a place you don't mind being at. A five star plus rating.

I have to start by saying it is very rare for me to give a five star, a four is really good a five is exceedingly good. The staff here know what they are doing but I found the level of communication leaving something to be desired. There was little to no explanation of what to expect or do before, during, or after procedures.

Outstanding, beautiful work! I had an accident and broke 4 of my top middle teeth ("a difficult case" as Dr. Reiter put it). They got me in very quickly and were so professional and courteous. I had to get 4 crowns. I thought that this was going to be a nightmare but somehow ended up with a better looking smile than before. Who would have thought? Dr. Reiter, Katie, Eileen, Laurie, Flora and the rest of the staff...Thanks for being so caring, thorough and compassionate. I highly recommend Las Cruces Family Dental to anyone. Aaron
