Mesilla Valley Family Dentistry

I was on a road trip with my mom when a crown came off one of my molars. Messilla Valley Dentistry got me in on short notice. The staff was courteous and welcoming despite the fact that I was a transient patient. Dr Borham and assistant Jessica were calming and let me know my options. I was grateful they fit me into a busy schedule!

I contacted Mesilla Valley Family Dentistry and was impressed with the professional and kind experience from the Team and the time Dr. Borham took with me during the exam was great. He is kind and gentle.
Terry the Office Manager explained my insurance and answered my questions, she was great as always.
Great office and highly recommend for your dental care! Gail my hygienist was amazing.

As usual Dr. Borham exceeded all expectations. He has only the most experienced and professional staff who treat you like one of the family. Gayle was thorough and answered all my questions and put my mind at ease with her extensive knowledge and experience. It is no wonder it was voted "Best Dental Office" in Las Cruces. Congratulations Dr. Borham!

Nice and helpful staff. Dr. Borham explained all of my options and was very professional. He and his assistant were very caring and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable.

Really nice, courteous staff. Waiting area is cute and cozy/comfortable. Made great efforts to obtain records from previous facility. Doctor is very nice and professional. Takes time to educate and confirm understanding of care provided. Office manager very friendly and goes over billing, insurance questions, and sets up next appointments. Overall, great experience.

My experience at Mesilla Valley Family Dentistry was excellent, not having seen a dentist for 25 years proved it’s challenges for Dr Borham and his staff. They were kind, patient and extremely professional. I highly recommend Mesilla Valley Family Dentistry and his staff for all your dental needs!!!

Let me preface by saying that I'm one of those people who USED to get severe anxiety about going to the dentist..but I KNOW how important mouth health is, so I began my search for a dentist. And btw..I wasn't experiencing any mouth pain, it was just time.
When I called Dr. Borham's office, Lisa took my call. As I was about to chicken out, she somehow convinced me to schedule (good job Lisa!). My initial appointment was for x-rays and an exam. When I arrived, I met Lisa and she reassured me that everything was going to be fine. Gus assisted that day and he was so sweet and thoughtful about my anxiety (he even let me keep the x-ray 'blanket' on to soothe my nerves). Dr. Borham came in next and immediately made me feel comfortable as he explained my x-rays to me. That was easy. Whew!
Then came the hard part, my actual 'real' appointment. The one with numbing, needles and drills! I was so nervous I canceled 3x's before making it in the door. Jessica took me back to the treatment room and we discussed what Dr. Borham was going to do. I let her know I had dental anxiety and asked her to let me know when the needle was coming because I didn't want to see it. She happily obliged and warned me with a shoulder tap. I asked if I could pop in my ear pods and she encouraged it. I turned on a podcast and began taking long, slow, deep breaths. I can't believe that I actually dozed off! I DOZED OFF AT THE DENTIST! I didn't feel a thing and suddenly, it was all over!
And while I'm saying how wonderful the staff is, I can't forget Terri in the billing department. She's so great at what she does! She advised me about dental insurance, etc. and was helpful in assisting me when I rescheduled my appointments.
MVFD is the BEST dental practice I have ever been to (honestly). I can't say enough kind things about them. And with this incredibly positive experience, I am over TOTALLY over my dental anxiety! Thank you MVFD!!! ♥️

Signing up as a new patient, staff was very helpful and made the process painless. The visit, again Lisa greeted me like I had been a long time client. Staff very friendly, personable and professional. The clinic was very clean and had a lot of character. The exam went above and beyond any other dentist visit I've ever had. Dr. Borham explained things asked questions and was very thorough. Felt like he truly has the best interest of the patient in mind. So far 5 stars out of 5 stars! Good job!

They are extremely kind and welcoming people that tell you everything you need to know before, during, and after appointments. Dentists and Dental Assistants are well prepared for cleanings, x-rays, check-ups, and fillings (based on actual visitations). They aren't afraid but respectful to tell you about anything with your teeth. The accountant is a rare gem on this floating rock that we live on, being honest about payments and keeping an engaging conversation with you. Even the secretary at the front office greets you at the door and is straightforward, making it easy to sign in to appointments.

My apologies for the long review, however, they're just wonderful people and give you the quality care you need. They even refer you to other professionals when they believe you need more care, such as a root canal. They deserve every penny I give them!

My visit was very pleasant. Service at its finest. I will be going back
