I have always been someone with lifelong dental issues. After a few difficult experiences with my previous dentist, I became extremely anxious about any dental visit(cleanings included!) Finding Dr. K and his amazing support staff, basically saved my teeth. Dr. K has a way of approaching every situation with professionalism and lack of judgment. He is always very honest about work that needs to be done, but has updated, state-of-the-art technology and resources that allow his expertise to work on teeth like mine, with ease.
Dr. K’s calm demeanor and willingness to work with his patients both financially and emotionally has allowed me to have faith in dentists again, and hope that my teeth at some point can be fixed for good. His support staff will always help you find ways to pay for dental visits, set up appointments with hygienists in his office to discuss preventative plans, educates us on proactive strategies that are manageable to do at home, and organizes treatment plans WITH the patient.
Dr. Kilimitzoglou’s most amazing quality is his genuine passion for helping his patients without an ounce of judgement. He never suggests it is the fault of the patient and does everything he can to put anxiety at ease. Even when office hours are closed, if you really need to reach his office they have a 24/7 helpline in which someone from his staff will return your call personally.
I am so fortunate to have been with Dr. K these past few years as I am someone who frequently needs to visit the dentist. I hope that anyone reading this comment who feels similarly will give E.S.I. Dental a chance because they have helped me more ways than they will ever know!

I was terrified when I had a cracked tooth and was suffering from a disease which I had to eat regularly. I had a bad experience from a few years ago and was filled with anxiety
The dentist and assistant welcomed me like I was a family member. Not only did they take me right away, they fixed my problem that day. They were the most compassionate health workers whom truly made me feel like they really cared. Thank you Thank you you gave me such a different outlook I can't thank you enough. I would certainly reccomend this office in Smithtown. I left with a smile and my dignity

First off, I do not going to the dentist. I have had some really bad experiences. I go to E.S.I. because they are patient and understanding. I go every three months for a cleaning to stay on top of my health. I only go in and see Jackie. She is without a doubt the best. She takes her time, explains what she is doing and always makes sure I am comfortable. I went this week and the first time I fell asleep in the chair. I have never been comfortable enough to fall asleep in a dentist chair. I would highly recommend this office, especially if your not comfortable with the dentist.

I have been searching for a dentist to take out my impacted wisdom teeth for a year luckily my friend is a dental student at stony brook recommended Dr K to me. He was able to take the impacted bottom wisdom teeth and took out my top ones out. Dr K is a very sweet, caring and intelligent dentist, he reassured me although the bottom wisdom teeth were in a difficult spot he’s dealt with much tougher wisdom teeth. Surprisingly the pain I’m experiencing is minimal, would def recommend to anyone.

This is the BEST dentist around. I've been to several dentists throughout my life and had good and bad experiences, but this is the best office, doctors AND hygienists BY FAR. They don't take insurance but that's off the bat. It can be expensive but not necessarily depending on what it is and they have a few financing options. Anyway, my teeth are something I will invest in since it's forever and believe you me, the materials are top notch so it's worth it!!! There's a WORLD of difference between the crown I got with ESI and a crown I got with another dentist, the latter of which was a total waste because I'm eventually going to redo it. I won't trust any other dentist with something so important as my teeth. Dr. Kilimitzoglou and the whole staff is so kind, always smiling and positive and NEVER trying to rush me out. If fact, everytime I go in I feel like they give me more than enough time, as if I was their only patient for the day, which makes me feel so much at ease and never rushed to get all my questions answered. They don't try to upsell me either and are very respectful of my finances. I'm moving 5 hours out of town but will still keep coming back here no matter what. I always, always, ALWAYS leave happy and confident. THANK YOU, ESI!!!!
