This dental office was efficent and professional. The only problem I had was I went in to have my crown re-cemented and a very small, almost microscopic cavity was found underneath it. I asked if it could be filled before re-cementing the crown in place. I was told that this procedure would make the crown not fit anymore (which was absolute nonsense) but that I could have the filling done and a new crown made to fix the issue. This was a bald faced lie and it upset me because I am a pensioner on a fixed income and they could have easily fixed the microscopic cavity and then re-cemented the crown on top....but they did not want to do this because my bill would have been a couple of hundred dollars for the tiny filling and re-cementing of the crown instead of the close to $2,000 that they estimated this new (unnecessary) crown would cost. I don't like this kind of thing and it seems to be rampant in the dental profession. The good thing was that they did re-cement my crown and only that. Most other dental offices would have charged for X-rays, a cleaning and a dental check up.....so they were good in this way. They were professional in demeanor ....but this being told that I had to replace my crown with a completely unnecessary new one was unconscionable.
